"In a world where dreams are real, nightmares reign."
Around the world humans are hallucinating after sleepless nights.
In a sterile, underground institute the forecasters keep reporting the same events.
And in the backwoods of Texas, a 16-year-old girl is about to be caught up in a fierce, ethereal battle.
Meet Roya Stark. She drowns every night in her dreams, spends her hours reading classic literature to avoid her family's ridicule, and is prone to premonitions - which are becoming more frequent. And now her dreams are filled with strangers offering to reveal what she has always wanted to know: Who is she? That's the question that haunts her, and she's about to find out. But will Roya live to regret learning the truth?

this book is geared toward adolescents, as an adult I found it quite tedious.
Im not sure if the order of the books are backwards or what when you get this boxed set, But i feel like i missed a whole book. It jump right in like a book 2. I have no clue whats going on and its hard to listen to.
Elizabeth is a good reader its the writer i have issues with.
I wouldnt know i cant get past the first hour of the book.
They need to make sure this is set up right. Am i missing a book? or is the writher this bad i wouldn't know.
I really enjoyed this series. The Lucidite's universe creates a really interesting take on dreams and is dynamic platform for this story. Book one is bold, daring and a bit of a thriller. I loved the drama of the first book and the classic plot line of good vs. evil challenging an unsuspecting hero. Book two reads a bit like a romance novel, focusing mostly on a frustrating love triangle. I don't particularly love these kinds of love stories, but for those who enjoy romance it's an awesome continuation of the story. My favorite part of book two was definitely the very end, which literally made my jaw drop and made it impossible to not go on to book three. Book three was my favorite of the series, mixing interesting plot twists with bits of romance, epic drama and raw emotion. I was moved to tears several times throughout the series and definitely recommend it.
Elizabeth Klett has that magical way of making each character in a book totally distinct, so that you know exactly who is speaking. She makes it easy to fall into the book's universe and I love her work.
Such a great series for such a new author! The world of the Dream Traveler grabs you by the imagination and refuses to spit you out until the last page has been turned! Read all of this author's books, they are worth it!
