Great performances

A delightful, slightly dark fantasy for both children and adults. The story is a bit episodic and therefore somewhat disjointed, like a series of short stories with reoccurring characters. Wonderful narration.

I hope to see Nobody again.

My only complaint is that it ended. I sincerely hope that Nobody finds his way back onto printed pages and I can read (or in this case, hear) about his life and adventures outside of the graveyard. I cannot wait to learn what's happened since he left, and if he will ever, in life or otherwise, return.

Neil is quickly becoming my favorite author

The story is beautiful and captures your heart within minutes. You are immediately hooked by the main character and his plight. You stay hooked throughout the entire book and there are even some tears at the end. A very satisfying book that I will recommend and surely read over and over. The voice acting is superb also.

Highly Satisfying

Couldn't put this book down, though each chapter nearly stands on its own as an independent story. Strung together, the chapters form a whole that is greater than the sum of their parts. A really good story, that should come out of the graveyard and continue writing itself.

One of the best books on Audible!

First off, I really enjoyed this full-cast production of the book because it really enhanced the enjoyment of the book. It felt more like listening to an audio drama almost with Derek Jacobi stepping in to narrate the other parts of the story. Every voice was cast brilliantly and at times Andrew Scott made me shiver because he was so convincing as the man, Jack. Also, I especially enjoyed Silas' voice actor (Julian Rhind-Tutt) because he really made that character his own.

The story itself is just as fantastic. I adore Neil Gaiman's novels and remember when this book actually came out. I'm only sad it took me so long to read it (or listen to it, rather). But I'm glad it got to be this particular version because it was amazing. I also really love the musical interludes and "Danse Macabre" intertwined into the story.

Highly recommend this version of the book. It really is an experience.
