Pretty Good.

All in all I very much enjoyed the book. It did take me a little bit of time to get into it, but once I did, it went down very smoothly, and I got through it pretty quick. I think the thing that is just the most interesting about it is that he is raised in the graveyard and by ghosts. What's not interesting about that?

I did, however, very much enjoy Neil Gaimans' performance of his own book.

Best ghost story ever written

Great story full of bite sized takes but be warned- last chapter results in dusty rooms guaranteed to cause red, wet eyes.

An excellent book, an even better audiobook!

Narrated by the author, it’s an absolute delight to listen to. Neil does an amazing job of building the atmosphere not only with his words, but with his voice, and it adds so much richness to the audio version!

Wonderful story!

Gaiman is a master storyteller. This is one of his best! Great story for adults and I would get this for all the creative children in my life once old enough to manage the scarier aspects, probably about 10 or 11, depending on the maturity of the child. Such a good story that has woven real life into fantasy.

I just can’t get enough

Just listened to this gem of a story yet again. I’m probably somewhere in the “listened to it 12-15 times” range. It’s just such a perfect story - the character arc, the indirect way that the magical system is revealed, the threats and the violence that stay terrifying w/o tipping over into gratuitous, the wit, the naïveté - dang, Mr. Gaiman, you did it yet again!
