What made the experience of listening to The Golden Lily the most enjoyable?

Adrian Adrian Adrian.. Oh, and Dimitri too! I loved having them so much in the book!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Golden Lily?

I think the end, when Adrian and Sydney have their moment. It was "deliciously frustrating!"

I listened to this book in 1.5 days. Im so eager for the next book. Then realized that this one just came out and I have to wait forever to get my hands on the next. :(

much like the other titles, this one delivers on all fronts. Mead is one of the most amazing writers and you feel like you're watching a movie while listening. narrator preformed flawlessly. 10/10

i like the universe richelle mead has come up with, and i love the characters. i like that its connected with the vampire academy books.
a good narrator, she's does a great job with the voices and accents.!

This series keeps progressing well and Syndey is learning that she is so much more than her job with a surprising outcome.

Golden Lily

I have become accustomed to Emily Shaffer's voice--it took me a little time, but I find her male voices very distinctive, which is hard for female narrators to do, and she makes Sydney really admirable and likable. Emilly is very talented, but I understand that no narrator is everyone's cup of tea. Loads of people love Dick Hill, and I like him, but I find his voice easy to tune out! Rather like a history professor I once had. Dick's voice hasn't grown on me, but Emily's has.

I like the two, connected series of Richelle Mead's, but, of the two, I find myself enjoying the Bloodlines series more. Sydney is confident, hard working, responsible and ingenious. It's been interesting watching her mature and grow--Mead is dealing with all the characters in this series really well. She seems to be allowing them to grow at their own pace, which is refreshing. I'll be listening to the third book in the series tomorrow--can't wait!

Loved listening

I really enjoyed listening to this book. The story is well written and paced so I'm never bored. The narrator did an amazing job with the different voices and accents and is pleasant to listen to. I ship Sydney and Adrian so much and I love seeing them slowly come together. The side characters are fun too, especially Jill and Eddie. I like that we get to Dimitri still and I'm hoping for Rose and Lissa at some point as well. I can't wait to listen to the next book!

this is when the storyline really starts to get going this book is basically the glue for the rest of the series and its soooooo good
