Fantastic!

This book is off and running. We learn a lot more about the cast system and the problems and strict rules of this country. There are a lot of secrets revealed.

Very well written and kept me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait to listen to the sequel.

The narration by Amy Rubinate was awesome!

Loved the book!

I love the first book! And book was great, but not as good… I thought that "the one" would be announced at the end and the one (book) would be filled with their adventures in planning the wedding etc. etc. But apparently not. No that's OK I really like the book but I feel it's a little drawn out farther than it should be. I still think Siri is narrating this thing… But I got to admit she's gotten better not very much… But enough that I increased her performance by one star. I still think this Amy chick needs a new career choice… But he obviously improved since the last book, Even if it wasn't much.

What made the experience of listening to The Elite the most enjoyable?

I likes the narrator and the books setting also pretty neat.

What did you like best about this story?

The characters and their surroundings!

I suppose the main character.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I laughed a lot at times!

Any additional comments?

This was a good second book and it left me wanting more. I suggest this book if you like the dystopian style books.

The Elite

This book has a lot of love and hate. I really recomend this book it is very awsome. Any one would love this book!! Also there are a lot of cool characters like America, and Macon. Those to at the most mentioned in the book.

Character development ahoy!

What made the experience of listening to The Elite the most enjoyable?

The most enjoyable thing was the book itself. Listening to it, I laughed and got nervous and just had a good time. I mean, I still wanted to reach into the story and shake just about everyone, but it was a fun time.

What other book might you compare The Elite to and why?

I've not heard of a comparable story. It's like part Hunger Games, America's Next Top Model and a few other things. Less so, now that there aren't all the girls still there, but it's quite interesting.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the end with American and Maxin in the safe room, just being together. They FINALLY talked and cleared the air. A lot of drama and pain would be unnecessary if they could just talk honestly with each other.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Probably something dumb about a love triangle or something vapid about becoming a princess. There really is more to this story.

I'm glad America made that last decision. Start fighting, sister. We're all rooting for you.

Love This Series

Where does The Elite rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is not in the Top 10, but it is fun for different reasons. I would rank it somewhere around the middle. Not the worst, but not the best. The narrator is fine, but the story lacks sometimes, however, that is not her fault.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character is Marlee. She is so sweet and loving. Oh, and Celeste, she is someone you love to hate.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite part was when America tries to save Marlee from the caning. It showed how much she loved her friend and the risk she was willing to take for her.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, this was one I wanted to listen to in one sitting. I actually did while driving on vacation!

My favorite series!!

I do not usually like reading or listening to books, but there is something about this series that I love. The narrator sounded a little like Siri, but if you speed it up, it sounds better.

Speechless this book is truly remarkable honesty amazing and has one of the best storylines out there.
