Not much progress.
I really enjoyed the first book, but this installment didn't progress the story a great deal. It's as if the publisher wanted to stretch two books into a trilogy. That said, it is well written and interesting. If you enjoyed the first one, don't expect much from this. Hopefully the next book will resolve some issues or develop the story more.

Waiting for next in series!
Would you consider the audio edition of The Elite to be better than the print version?
I am surprised I like the first 2 books in the series. I found myself staying up to find out what happens next. Good story, good plot, and likeable characters, although the main character is a little wishy-washy....choose already!

What did you like best about this story?
When I listen to stories, it's all about the entertainment factor for me, I don't too much care to think about the writing style or anything like that. With that in mind, I had to give this whole series a 5 and came online to make my first audible review ever! The Selection book series is the first book I've ever listened to twice, and honestly I know I'll listen to it a third time again! I love the story, it's very much a guilty teenie romance read for me but honestly that's all I want from it! I'm a sucker for dystopian trilogies, and throw in a monarchy, a romance and an underdog story and I can't turn it down. Go into this book just purely wanting a fun listen and you'll enjoy it, I promise! The narrator is awesome, and I would definitely seek out other books she's narrated just because of her!

this book gave me a range of emotions. At times I wanted to cry and scream st the same time. I wished I could shake some sense into the character. I listened to it in one day, late into the night. cannot wait to start next book in the series

Dw the voice eventually sounds normal
At first the narrators voice bothered me a little, because it sounded to robotic. But after listening to it I sorta found it soothing. The book is good, even though it’s cheesy and can give you second hand embarrassment at times.

A must
I can not say enough about this book I started on book 1 and finished it in a day the next day I started the Elite and I cud not turn it off the book is so good. It is like watching an amazing movie or tv show all I can say is I am loving the books and I won’t more it is 12:00 am in the morning and I am starting the next book because I need to know what is next. This book will not disappoint you the books need to come with a label that says if you start this book you will not be able to stop.
