If you have the book, get this audio!

I have this story in book form, and have read it to my children in the past. It is a wonderful story of courage and character. But this audio version adds so much to the story. The times when John Go in the Wind is playing the harp, you get to hear the tune. When the church bells ring, you get to hear them. The audiobook was truly a delight to listen too. I can’t recommend it enough.

great for young kids ages 6-12

The book proved to be a pleasant, gentle story with a good moral. It was not incredibly moving, though.

Very good audiobook!

Such a good story, I highly recommend this book! The main character (Robin) is faced with several hardships, and at only 10 years old. This is such a rich, beneficial book to listen to, child or adult, and I think that it is so important to understand that even though many doors may be shut closed, we can always find something we can do if we just follow the wall far enough (push through our hardships). We can always find our door in the wall.

Ummmmmm…….

I had to read this for school, CC Challenge A, and in the end it wasn’t to bad….😵‍💫

The story didn’t have much noticeable character development and I had a hard time writing a paper about it. For anybody who wants to know the issue I used was “should Brother Luke have helped Robin escape the castle to go find John-go-in-the-wind. 🤪😉
