Publisher's summary

Don't miss book three in the #1 New York Times best-selling Maze Runner series, soon to be a major motion picture starring Dylan O'Brien!

WICKED has taken everything from Thomas: his life, his memories, and now his only friends — the Gladers. But it's finally over. The trials are complete, after one final test.

What WICKED doesn't know is that Thomas remembers far more than they think. And it's enough to prove that he can't believe a word of what they say.

Thomas beat the Maze. He survived the Scorch. He'll risk anything to save his friends. But the truth might be what ends it all.

The time for lies is over.

The first two books, The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials, are also #1 worldwide blockbuster movies featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O'Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster!

Also look for The Fever Code, the much-buzzed-about series conclusion that finally reveals the story of how the maze was built, and James Dashner's other best-selling series, the Mortality Doctrine: The Eye of Minds, The Rule of Thoughts, and The Game of Lives.

Praise for James Dashner and the Maze Runner series:

Good overall, but felt rushed.

I enjoyed this series, but felt this ultimate installment rushed to wrap things up. The epilogue was a bit anticlimactic and prescriptive.

Finish the whole story!

The story was very cool, I was hoping that we found out more about wake is underlying memorandum. Jetsons dying did not in wickets plot to finding the cure or torturing immune's. Just because they made it to what they viewed a paradise isolated from the contagious people doesn't mean that life was all that great without some planning. In the end I would really like to know what happened to Wicked, and the cranks.

Worth a shot

I purchased all of the maze runner books on audible and it was ok. I expected a bit more out of the ending but if I had gone off from the other reviews! I would have passed this up. It was definitely worth it.

great book, I could not put it down

I loved this book, this being the final book in the trilogy. It was just as good as the previous two. Overall the whole series was amazing. The performance was great and I was glue to the story, at times found myself at the edge of my seat literally anticipating the next turn of events. It was easy to connect with the character's emotions. overall great series I highly recommend it.

Riveting but graphically violent

Intense thriller, couldn't put it down. But almost shut it off a few times for the horrific and very graphic violence. Wouldn't record it for everyone, especially young kids.
