Loved this book

It tied up so many ends and gave you answers to small Easter eggs from the mortal instruments. She really did a great job. I would read the other book series first. And then read this one. Light bulbs go off the entire time connecting the past To present

Fulfilling conclusion

The Infernal Devices series is fantastic, but this book is much weightier than it need be. The writer repeated descriptions and conversations so often, I wished I could fast forward through unnecessary sections. Great story, poor editing.

Wonderful and exciting series, Sad it's over.

This series was thrilling, exciting, edge of your seat. The way it pulls you in and takes you along on the Journey, it was hard to step away and I couldn't wait to read more. This series made me go though all the emotions the characters were feeling. I'm not going to spoil anything for others who haven't read this series but the only thing that would have made it even more awsome for me would have to be at the end. I would have liked to know more about Jem and Tess's life together and no I didn't just spoil something.

What did you love best about The Clockwork Princess?

Ending! Although it was a tough emotional read or listen at the end the author tied it all in so making it a satisfying ending.

What other book might you compare The Clockwork Princess to and why?

The Mortal Instruments series was also fantastic. Although they are both good in different ways, Clockwork pulled at my emotional heart strings more.

Which character – as performed by Daniel Sharman – was your favorite?

This is tough- I thought he did Will very well because of the accent. But since they have switched narrators from book to book you need to get into a "groove" but eh. still didn't change the book quality

ENDING. CRYING AT MY DESK AT WORK. lol

Cassandra write more!! ALSO made me wanted to go back and read the mortal instruments to see how characters from this story affected the future generation in the mortal instruments!

Love the series, but can't stand terrible Chinese

Where does The Clockwork Princess rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I can't rank one book out of the series since they are sooo tightly interwoven. I would rank the series in the middle of my audiobooks.

Would you recommend The Clockwork Princess to your friends? Why or why not?

I would of course. I love the story and the way that Cassandra Clare wrote about heroes, villains, love and self-sacrifice. Her every book has a central love story. This series has a love triangle with heart breaking passion and honor.

Which character – as performed by Daniel Sharman – was your favorite?

Will no doubt, a rebel as well as hero. Daniel Sharman has surpassed all the previous narrators of the series. His narration brought characters to life, especially with Will's Welsh accent.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Some laughs.

Any additional comments?

Most English speakers won't even know this. The Chinese spoken in the audiobooks are horrible, to the extent that I, fluent in Chinese, couldn't understand them without the English translation followed. I was horrified when Jem declared his love for Tessa, he sounded like a hiccuping dog. At times, I really wished he could stop using Chinese trying to be meaningful. The tip for the next audio version of this series: please consult a native Chinese speaker for correct pronunciation.

What made the experience of listening to The Clockwork Princess the most enjoyable?

The narrator.The writing of Cassandra Clare is wonderful! Not only for young adults! All of these books are great! Can't wait for the movies!

The Ending.

I couldn't even finish City of Bones (1st Mortal Instruments book). I couldn't stand any of the characters! But I thought the concept was brilliant! The world of Shadowhunters and Downworlders is amazing. So this storyline with that backdrop in London was perfect. Loved all the characters and the recording was perfect too. I just wish the Mortal Instruments had been this good.
