Publisher's summary

The Cahill family has a secret. For five hundred years, they have guarded the 39 Clues - thirty-nine ingredients in a serum that transforms whomever takes it into the most powerful person on earth. If the serum got into the wrong hands, the disaster would rock the world. So certain Cahills have always made it their mission to keep the serum safe, buried, locked away. Until now. Thirteen-year-old Dan Cahill and his older sister, Amy, are the latest guardians of the Clues. They think they've done everything right, but a tiny mistake leads to catastrophe. The serum is missing and Dan and Amy have to get it back and stop who stole it…before it's game over. For everyone.

Book 7 After Cahills vs. Vespers Book 6

This was not easy to find. It is another story thread after the Cahills vs. Vespers book 6. The exciting story continues as Amy and Dan struggle against evil. The narrator did a good job.

This is book one, but it’s pretty clear that you have to read the other books in the series to really understand what’s going on

I thought this would be a fun book to start a series, but there was so much going on from other previous books that was barely explained that it clearly isn’t a starter book. The narrator was great with voices, but the narration when people weren’t speaking was a bit monotonous. I didn’t really enjoy this book and couldn’t get into it

Where can they hide

this book isn't like the rest of the original 39 clues books, for some reason Amy and Dan are being hunted and by a man they don't know Jay Rutherford Pierce. Amy and Dan have been trying their hardest to protect and guard 39 clues that their ancestor Gidden Cahill created that could transform whoever took it into the most powerful person on earth. their fear was that if this serum was created and got into the wrong hands it could be disaster for the world. Now they are being hunted by Pierce and his group of enhanced goons. All of the guys they are running from seem very enhanced and how could that be, it seems like these guys have taken the serum that they have been trying so hard to hide and keep safe. everywhere they turn they are fighting for their lives and they don't know why but the media is making it all seem like they are causing havoc around the world. After they go underground to hide away from the media and trying to find out who Pierce is and why he is after them they start to discover more interesting information about their family history and they still seem to be getting help from Grace from beyond the grave. with the help of Jack and Adactus, Amy and Dan are able to translate a book they found from Giddien's wife, Olivia with the instructions on how to create the antidote that can cure anyone from the serum. Now they are on the move again racing against time to get all the ingredients to create the antidote to save the world. Not only is this another race against time but this is also a test for both of the kids, mostly Amy. I didn't find this book as entertaining as the original 39 clues books but I still think it is interesting it does have me locked in because there are soo many secrets and new information that the kids are finding out
