Her two best friends, Betty and Fabrice - often the victims of Tara’s uncontrollable abilities - are the only ones who know about Tara’s secret. Even her grandmother and caretaker, Isabella, doesn’t have a clue. That is until Tara learns that she is a spellweaver, descended from a long line of powerful magic-wielders.

Audible Editor Reviews

Plenty of kids would do anything for magic powers, but for 12-year-old Tara Duncan, the ability to send friends and enemies flying is a nuisance - and a mystery. No one seems to understand what's going on, least of all Tara's strict grandmother Isabella, until Tara learns a secret that will shake her understanding of everything she thought she knew. Performer Carmela Corbett's delightful English accent is a perfect fit for this story, which is sure to please fans of Harry Potter and similarly magical tales.
