I listened to this book over 6 years ago and have been saying I was going to listen again because I remembered really liking it. My feelings have not changed! I love how original this world is and even if it has the same feel as a movie I've seen, the paranormal aspect makes it a completely different story.

The characters are all great. You may love one and then hate the same one within the span of one book but that is what makes it great to me. You don't know who to trust, who is good and who is bad, besides Wendy of course! She has been thrown into a world she didn't even know existed but her life finally make sense once she knows about the Trylle. I am not a fan of magic in book but these are more abilities even if they call it magic so it works perfectly for me. Can't wait to start book 2.

The narration is awesome! Therese Plummer is my #1 favorite narrator and I remember wondering if she could pull off YA and I have to say YES she can and she does it perfectly. Great narration choice!

The naming ceremony was so exciting I had to rewind and make sure I didn't miss something.

What does Therese Plummer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I become a successful multi tasker listening to my favorite books. Therese Plummer is very easy to follow and understand.

Clearly the First of a Series

It is clear from the beginning that this book is not a standalone story.

This episode sets up the story, asks the questions, answers some and leaves many to be answered. Adventure, romance and an interesting twist on fantasy characters with trolls as the main characters.

I love listening to Therese Plummer. Her understated narration and character interpretations are always enoyable.

I am looking forward to the next two books in the Trilogy.

It was definitely something different to read, I ranked it a must read if your looking for something different to read.

Compared to My Blood Approves 0nly because the main characters are girls and both have some powers.

I have no claims on performance,Therese did great!!

Yes, it only took me a day 1/2 only because I stopped a few times. I had to down load 2 book right away.

Love Love & Love

Amanda Hocking ... Loved Trylle Book 1. Bought the book, and bought the audio so that I could listen when I wasn't able to read. Had to know what happened. My dream is to be a self publisher ... I love to write and you give me hope of all that's possible! Suffice to say, the book was amazeballs & y'all should read it, listen to it, buy it, spread the word etc!

Beautifully told!

Whe I first listened to this book, I thought I wasn't going to like the narrator. But I ended up LOVING HER and the story! While it's a little "young reader" and the main character does make some silly descisions I truly loved this story... It was beautiful and I read all three it was so good!

Definitely recommend if you like Young Adult/Teen Syfy Fantasy.

I LIKE THAT THIS STORY IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT FROM THE WHOLE VAMPIRE WEREWOLF THING. CHANGELINGS. BEING SWITCHED AT BIRTH. I LIKE THE NARRATOR ASWELL
