    "Team Puck"

I enjoyed this novella and getting to peek into Puck's mind. I've always secretly been Team Puck.

Josh Hurley does a good job as Puck, and speaks very clearly, but there were moments when his delivery seemed a little forced. Of course, it must be hard to step into a character mid-series when Khristine Hvam has done such a superb job with the other books.

    "Puck's POV, Thank the Gods!"
Where does Summer's Crossing rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Summer's Crossing ranks fifth or sixth among the numerous audiobooks I've listened to so far. Josh Hurley brings such life to Puck and it was such an answer to a secret wish for The Iron Fey series that it was destined to rate highly.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favourite character in this was Puck. I loved how mixed up he was in his thought process, and yet he was able to create a plan that allowed him space to change his mind about what he ultimately wanted to do. I admire the character's cunning and I love the energy that Josh Hurley brings to Puck in particular.

What does Josh Hurley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Josh Hurley brings life to Puck, and sass to Grimalkin. Without Josh Hurley I would have had to rely on the imaginary echo of goofy sass and it's so much more heartening to hear it.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book made me laugh several times.

    Any additional comments?

This is a nice break from Meghan Chase's annoying Mary-Sue tendencies and most of Ash's troubling level of angst while remaining within the world of The Iron Fey.

Great to hear Puck's point of view.

    Any additional comments?

With Puck you are going to have tons of laughs and more than enough sarcasm to keep things interesting.

    "Good edition to the series"
Where does Summer's Crossing rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The voice recorded in this audiobook was perfect for each of the characters, particularly the main character Puck.

What did you like best about this story?

The story was short, but highly entertaining. It provides readers of the Iron Fey series with extra and background information.

What about Josh Hurley’s performance did you like?

Josh Hurley's voice was perfect for this!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I had no extreme reaction to this. It is, after all, a short novel. However, I did really enjoy listening.

"Great Novella For Fans of the Iron Fey Series"
    Any additional comments?

This novella is more about Ash and Puck's relationship than anything. Making it all the more special is the fact that it is told by Puck and his point of view. Summer's Crossing gave us a glimpse into Puck's mind and made him even more endearing.

With this book, we were able to see the battle between Leanansidhe and Queen Titania while enjoying the latest adventure for the Prince and Goodfellow. Actually, King Oberon's absence and jealousy gives us some insight to him as well.

By way of a short story, this is great fix for those desperate for more of the Iron Fey series and Julie Kagawa.

    "Fascinating Iron Fey Tale"

I loved this novella. Very interesting and entertaining story line. Very good narration. I was confused as to who the narrator was. On your site it states that Josh Hurley was the narrator. However, while listening to the book the introduction states that the book is read by John Hagee. I would like that clarified as I really liked the narrator. I would recommend this short story to anyone, especially those who love the Iron Fey series.
