SO SAD:Narrator change effects impact of storyline

After Vampire academy i was looking forward to this series so much, that i waited patiently 6 years until the last book was out, before i started listening

Emily shaffer and especially her interpretation of adrien for me made the vampire academy series special. And the first 3 books of bloodline did not disappoint, clever plot and excellent lively interpretation.
Exactly this is missing since the 4th book. alden ford is not bad but boring compared to Emily and now also Emily shaffer seems to hold back and has reduced the emotion in her reading.
i am so disappointed, for the first time in the series i have to re-listen to certain passages because i was not so hooked any more and apparentely overheard things, though the story is well developed.

i will read the last book just to get the happy ending, but,,

The intensity and easy transitions

This chapter was probably the most intense of the series probably more intense than the vampire academy series with the exception of strigoi. In this book you can see the monsters have shifted form from red eyes to human eyes. The alchemist are now the monsters that lurk and satiate their hunger of being the cause of human pain and suffering. In this book the thought of a strigoi attack is almost welcome in the place of the ruthless alchemist that seems to be everywhere. It’s disturbing, it is electrifying and it humbles all of us.

love this book, this series is one of my favorite!

it amazing listening to this Audio player. as much I like to read my books, I have to say it was supper helpful to listen to the audio payer while I was doing something else.

Fantastic story

This next installment of the bloodline series is just as fast paced and well written as all the books before.

The Best in the Bloodline series

This I my favorite so far in the series! As a psychology student this book was fascinating. I loved Sydney’s resilience and wit. Richelle did not disappoint!
