Not what I expected - it was really great!

Surprisingly good - I thought this was just going to be a random facts type filler book but it has great backstory not told from the main story line. It answers many questions I had that the main books didn't directly address...now I see why! Definite must read for the Pitticus fans! Can't wait till September for the next book!

Read this several times. Great stories. Entertaining.

I like the way audible combined these 3 books into one. I am anxious for the next "The Next Lost Files.' It will be out soon.

Terrific Addition

I found these stories a terrific addition to the main "I am Number Four" books. I really enjoyed the additional background on Adams and Nine's Saigon.

It is great to hear more of the back story stuff that usually gets left out of a series.

I must say I found this set of books much later than they came out. However it is an adventure that keeps me coming back for more. All I can say is thanks.

Really Great, Edge of My Seat Stories

I really wanted to review these backstory books because there is so little information in the descriptions and little idea of what you are buying. I wasn't sure where to start with these or if they would really be worth it. Let me tell you something - this book is completely one you don't want to miss. (I'd recommend starting with "The Lost Files: The Legacies" first, though.)

So this book is comprised of three stories. The second of the Adam backstories, a backstory on Nine's Cepan, Sandor, and the third of the Adam backstories - in that order.

I have really been wanting more backstory on Adam for a while, so I was excited to dive into this book. The two stories are great and I very much enjoyed getting more of his background including the rescue of Sam and what was going on when he went missing after Sam's rescue.

The great treasure of this book, though, was the second story, Sandor's backstory, which I would classify as mind-blowing. I tend to listen to audiobooks as I work on other things, and set them down when I have projects to work on that I have to concentrate on. I couldn't put this down though, and had to postpone several things I needed to get done because I couldn't stop listening to this story. Of all the backstories in this series so far, this one is my absolute favorite. I won't say more, but Sandor has now been added to my favorite character list and I gain new appreciation for Nine as well. He and Nine are really meant for each other. I'm not sure anyone else could have done as good a job mentoring the wild child that was Nine. And the somewhat tragic overtone to both of their stories adds a deep poignancy to it all. (And now I really want more stories of the adventures of Sandor and Nine.)

Don't miss this one! Seriously!

Just a note, I think of this book as the Second book in the Lost Files series. Adam's first backstory and Nine's backstory in "The Lost Files: The Legacies" should really be listened to first. Go listen to those then come back to this one. :)
