kept the thrill going sad to see some of the characters die but was still a great book for the House of Night

Almost There!

I feel like there are still so many loose ends right now, I'm almost kind of nervous for the ending. Excited and nervous. With Zoey taking on an angry edge and Neferet on the loose, I simply can't sit and listen to this installment because the anxiety is so high throughout the whole book. This is the type of build up I've been waiting for. I really hope the author nails the ending and is able to tie up all of the ends. I've become a huge fan of these books and I can't wait to see how the ending goes. Purchasing the last book now, fingers crossed!

I have purchased all of the books in this particular series and have emmensly enjoyed reading them over and over.

I think it has graduated from a young readers book

this would not be a book I would want my young reader to be reading. The story is decent and the narrator is good. I only have one suggestion: change up the dialog a little bit. I remember back when I took writing classes, my biggest challenge was to not be repetitive especially when writing about a discussion. Now I understand why. It is very distracting when a conversation goes like this...Zoey said,.....Stark said......Aphrodite said......, Stevie Ray said......... all in one paragraph.

Sad it was over but glad I found another P.C Cast & Kristen Cast book 1 from the same series. It sounds as if it catches up with the nerd herd for another adventure. This time as 'adults' or 18. Can't wait to start it!

ANOTHER WINNER

These books are great. The Casts just keep the story and characters moving. I listen to books everyday while I paint on canvas. I like an intriguing book but not so confusing and heavy it will influence my art. If you like paranormal romance you’ll love the whole series. Every book is great . Just keep em coming and I’ll keep buying them! thanks
