Ignoring Jared's orders and going to the Fae plane has cost Mina dearly. She remains haunted by her decision as a new danger surfaces. The Grimms are fading.
With the help of her Fae Godmother and a pair of magic shoes, Mina Grime will have to travel to the past to save her family's future.
Mina must go to the Story's beginning - where the dark prince's reign began. But can she complete her quest before her time runs out or will she be trapped in the past forever?

I was really looking forward to this book, but I feel it was missing a lot. The main character didn't retain the Chutzpah she had in the previous two book. At the end of the last book she was strong and the beginning of this book she is so weak. She whined her way through 20 chapters. She would get stronger then flake out. I'm not sure if I will sign on for the next book.
Well written story with visual depth. Effectively transports the reader into another world. Story line keeps interest with a good balance of emotional detail and action.
It was very difficult getting use to the new voice, I honestly liked the other one better. The story was good though. I did predict some of what was going to happen but I was not expecting the ending. Very excited about the last one.
This is such a fun concept. I have really enjoyed following the adventures of Mina and her friends. This book explained a lot and ties up the many loose ends. Looking forward to the conclusion.
I can usually predict a lot of twists and turns but this series is GREAT! It reminded me a bit of Grimm in the beginning but is DEFINITELY it's own brand of uniqueness! I'm reading them in a matter of days (or less!) I'm going to be so sad when I run out of books to read!!
