i enjoyed this story

I gave this 4 stars. witch is vary good.
and Stefan Rudnicki is a good Narrater.
Orson Scott Card is one of the top 2 writers I like.
I think most would like this story.
read the reviews and try the simple that helps.
a sci-fi and magic story mix.
I leave the story review to others.
if you do like the first book then get them all.

Great story, great performance

What did you love best about Pathfinder?

I've always been a fan of Scott's work. I couldn't stop with the Ender series, and now the Pathfinder series, to bad there are only 2 books in the series available right now. I'm sure i will listen to the rest of this series.

Multiple narrators make for an interesting book.

Having multiple narrators is an interesting study in how a different reader in an audio book can really change your perceptions of the characters and the story. In some cases I found the switch from on narrator to another jarring to my perceptions of the characters that the narrator was reading. It was interesting but did not take away from the book too much since each narrator was talented.

The book itself is a treasure. It's strange and unique and I love it.

Great story

Would you listen to Pathfinder again? Why?

I probably would not listen to this book a second time because I do not usually read science fiction. If this is scifi then I didn't know how much I like it.

What other book might you compare Pathfinder to and why?

This was definitely a parallel universe. I liked the characters and enjoyed the suspense.

great story but man that narrator switch

great story but the narrator switch makes it really rough for 2 chapters. two more words

Magic system difficulty: Legendary

Any additional comments?

I think it becomes clear why there aren't many books that have rolling use of this kind of magic system. So many things to balance, so great the burden of staying sudo logically consistent. PS: OSC made one of the characters TOO annoying. Otherwise I liked it.

Wow

This mind-bending adventure was very good. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I almost couldn't stop listening other than eating and sleeping and spending time with family.

Slow

The only thing that kept me listening was my belief in the author. And just when I thought I was wrong, my faith was rewarded. If you are a fan, stick with it, all will be revealed. If you are not a fan, truthfully, I don't think this is the book to start with. That said, looking forward to the next one.

Another brilliant story by the master of sci-fi

Orson you are a genius! Brilliant time travel science paradigms back by a great story.
Like Ender, we have punchy characters developing throughout the narrative. A great book.

very fun

I loved it. I finished this in less than two days while working full time. Absolutely amazing story and fun to guessed along.
