Two weeks before junior year, Darcy hops a plane to Orlando for a little R&R with her best friend Dylan and his family. Fresh off the heels of solving three murders in Valley, you'd think she'd sit back and enjoy the vacation capital of the world...maybe if you're a noun. Darcy Walker, however, is nothing but verb.
Before her feet hit the Orlando soil, she's meddling in the disappearance of a five-year-old boy who vanished six months earlier.
With authorities still no closer to solving the case, Darcy is shanghaied by her impulsivity and runs headlong into that proverbial burning building, convinced she can bring him home.
She travels down a road that not only follows this missing child but branches off into the corrupt and sinister world of mob activity when she tampers in a case on which Dylan's detective grandfather is working.
After a near disastrous midnight meeting in a warehouse and a date with a mechanical bull, Darcy realizes she might've bitten off more than she can chew. Add the boiling flirtationship with her best friend and the appearance of his romantic rival, and she is in over her head.
Will she survive a life of flirting with death too easily? Or will her flirtationship with Dylan become the actual death of her instead?
For a girl with a habit of finding dead bodies, No Brainer gives Darcy Walker more of the same...surprising twists and turns...and running for her life.

Yes. Love the story and they way the narrator brought the story to life.
Since the ending has a major cliffhanger that will be always be memorable. This story is awesome all the way through.
Yes. I listened to Grade A Stupid that Patricia did and both audiobooks are amazing.
Yes but didn't get the time too which made me mad.
This the second book of the Darcy Walker Series. Darcy is witty and laugh out loud funny. Her and her friends can really get into mayhem. it is a mysterious triller which will leave you on the edge of your seat, then turn around with Darcy's smart mouth which leaves you laughing hard. AJ Lape took this book one step further with Darcy and her friends on a crazy ride. Can't wait until the next book because Wow!! What a Cliffhanger!!
I listen to a lot of books and chose this series because it's refreshing. Darcy is a clueless teenager who attracts trouble. She is witty without all the nasty language.
No Brainer is not only a wonderfully written story but Patricia narration is absolutely spot on. The characters and accents are very distinct to each individual that you can clearly tell who is speaking as the story is told.
Darcy doesn't do what a normal person would do when on vacation like relax nope she somehow finds trouble and adventure.
Patricia does a amazing job giving each charter a distinct accent and voice that you wouldn't put normally in your head when reading.
The confession scene is probably my favorite scene. They put it all out on the table and I definitely felt the emotions when listening.
I can't wait to hear 100 Proof Stud. Thank you AJ for writing a amazing series and also thank you Patricia for doing a amazing job bringing the book alive.
I love these books! Just reading the books is great but now that they've narrated them is even better. The narrating is funny and kept me glued to my tablet the entire book! I love the intricate plot and characters! Can't wait till the next book comes out!
Darcy Walker is quite the character. She is a 15 year old dealing with the hormones, ADHD, and warped sense of adventure, which leads to a lot of craziness. There was so much going on in this story, sometimes it was a little complicated to know what was happening. At times it seemed it tried to be overly funny, but it definitely had some funny parts
How about every bit of trouble Darcy got into
yes, she sounds like a hyped up teenager
This book was entertaining, but sometimes Darcy was a bit over the top dumb, a train wreck is a good description. It was a good story, just at time seemed to drag a bit.
I would consider both actually, I like to read along with the audio books.
I would have to say when Darcy was being pulled behind the boat and she fell off. Dylan being the typical best friend dove in after her <3
Yes I have, and she is without a doubt one of the beast. She brings all of the characters flaws and perfections to life.
For Darcy Walker, every day is a No Brainer.
Yes I would....I already have...sending my friends to Darcy's world....its such a fun story....very enjoyable
I liked the way Darcy keeps getting herself in trouble even tho she trying to help find the lost little boy....her best intentions sometimes backfire in her realationships
I love how she made the story come so alive..if Darcy laughed Patricia laughed the line....an her voices for each character were awesome
there were a few...but I don't like to give spoilers...grab yourself a copy an you can find out...:)
