At the start of this anxiously awaited novel, Ever and Damen are still separated by the poison lingering in Damon’s body. Their only hope of being together is the antidote that was spilled all over Jude’s shirt when he killed their enemy Roman. Now Haven is in possession of the shirt—and she’s out for revenge. Blinded by rage and grief, Haven—who blames Ever for killing Roman—could be Ever and Damen’s deadliest enemy yet.
Now Ever is forced to make an impossible choice—allow Haven to destroy her and her dearest friends, or send her to the Shadowland, the abyss for lost souls.

I enjoy this genre, so I'm bought and listened to all 5 books in this series. I like the characters and the idea behind the series, but sometimes the awkward writing gets in the way. The author will start a scene, and then end the scene without explaining what happened. Then only to later have the character have a long inner dialogue to explain what happened. I kept feeling like I skipped ahead in the story, when I hadn't. Other then that, the characters have grown and developed over the last 5 books. And I will finish the series. I also enjoyed the narrator! She has the perfect voice for this series. If you enjoy this genre, pick this one up.
I have been listening to this series since the beginning. Have you ever finished a series and thought "they could have finished that in 2 books"? That is this series. It drove me nuts listening to the characters explaining everything to DEATH! Most readers/listeners are able to come to the point pretty quickly but this author just treats everyone like we can't come to one single conclusion. Moving on. Haven is a brat, Ever is a brat. Everyone is either a brat or dull, and "heck!" I am so over this. Usually this genre has some substance but the more I listened the more I wanted to be sick!
another good one in the immortals by Alyson Noel. looking forward to the next one in the series. and I will be checking out more books by her .
Within a weekend
Her way of reading and how she brings life to the characters.
Nothing particular really moved me. Loved the book.
I'm one of the reviewers at the Guilty Indulgence Review Site. I am always reading - I don't go anywhere without an ebook or audiobook!
I'm an Immortals fan. Still, I admit the plot is beginning to stall in this book. When I look at the series as a whole, this might've been needed but I'm ready to get this moving along again.
The unabridged is a bit redundant at times but well worth the few extra moments.
This is a series of characters that will remain with you for life. In fact you will miss them.
