I remember reading this years ago and I really liked it. Audible, not so much. The narrator is fine, it's not that. It's how she's portrayed. She sounds like a brat. So much cringe...

Main character doesn't react appropriately
The concept behind this story is intriguing and toward the end, it got better. In fact I'll read the next in the series because of it, but the heroine in the story drove me crazy most of the book. A weak, whiny girl who is confused and fighting herself most of the story has a lot of bad things happen. She overreacts to most of it and underreacts to the rest. The narrator did a nice job performing the book.

Intriguing
The story adds mystery, espionage and little romance. I live storys that have reluctant heros. When the teenage girls father is killed, she learns she is a clone and the world is turned on its heel. She has several panic attacks. Then no one around are what they seem. Someone tries to kill her, while others want to control her. The narrator was great with her voice , really personalizing the characters. I will continue with this series.

Good start to new series
I enjoyed this book. There were twists, turns, and a bit of romance. Some of the stuff that happened was a little hard to believe (it's sci-fi after all) but I can't wait to see what the rest of the series has in store for us.

Not worth the time.
The story tries to hard. The love happens unnaturally quick & with a lack of any substance. Most the “mystery” comes from a ridiculously convenient naivety, that just left me, as a reader, confused.
