Publisher's summary

The race to the Still Blue has reached a stalemate. Aria and Perry are determined to find this last safe haven from the Aether storms before Sable and Hess do - and they are just as determined to stay together. Within the confines of a cave they're using as a makeshift refuge, they struggle to reconcile their people, Dwellers and Outsiders, who are united only in their hatred of their desperate situation. Meanwhile, time is running out to rescue Cinder, who was abducted by Hess and Sable for his unique abilities. Then Roar arrives in a grief-stricken fury, endangering all with his need for revenge.

Out of options, Perry and Aria assemble an unlikely team for an impossible rescue mission. Cinder isn't just the key to unlocking the Still Blue and their only hope for survival - he's also their friend. And in a dying world, the bonds between people are what matter most.

In this final audiobook in her earth-shattering Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi raises the stakes to their absolute limit and brings her epic love story to an unforgettable close.

Perfect ending to a wonderful series

This was a perfect and oh so satisfying ending to a great trilogy. Lately I’ve been a little upset with the way most trilogies have been ending (or not ending) but this one was just simply perfect. It was fast paced, emotional and tied up loose ends. As a reader/listener you are not left with unanswered questions or having to “figure out” the ending for yourself. This was perfectly wrapped up with a beautiful bow on top.

I am sad that this series is over but I am happy that it reached a satisfying conclusion.

Best book of the 3! Great ending to Trilogy.

Would you listen to Into the Still Blue again? Why?

Actually yes, I never listen to books twice!

What other book might you compare Into the Still Blue to and why?

Its similar to hunger games, divergent, and maze runner. However, its completely different. Same genre but on a different playing field.

Which scene was your favorite?

Way to many to limit them to a favorite. I loved the ending. Some times trilogy leave open endings but this one loops you full circle.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

the last few hours, I was tempted to get some cliff notes on it because I couldn't wait for the end. However, I remained patient and it was worth every second of the wait.

Any additional comments?

Great read! Highly recommend!

Great ending to a great series

Any additional comments?

While it was very predictable and went exactly where you expected it to, there were still plenty of twists and fun adventure along the way. An enjoyable final book to the series. My only wish was that it would have given less detail on getting to the still blue, and more detail about what it was like living there.

Into the Still Blue review

What did you like best about Into the Still Blue? What did you like least?

I love the story, but the voice did not match the characters. Her voice sounded too old for young adult characters and it sounded like she was trying too hard.

City of Cinder

I really like these books but I don't love them does that make sense?

I can't pinpoint exactly why they just miss the love mark but they do. I really like these books because they are full of adventure, fear, excitement, love, and a seriously unique dystopian world. The end is great, and the writing is good.

If you like YA adventure // dystopians then definitely give this series a shot! If you have already read the pervious two then I think you will be happy with the conclusion.

GREAT END TO A GREAT SERIES!!!

Would you listen to Into the Still Blue again? Why?

ABSOLUTELY!! I would listen to the whole series again....it is wonderful!! Even though this is by far not my favorite narrator...once you settle into her, its good..and the story carries itself!

What other book might you compare Into the Still Blue to and why?

No comparison...unique, and really beautiful...

Which character – as performed by Bernadette Dunne – was your favorite?

Aria, Roar, Perry...I like them all pretty much!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Oh I did both...this is a charming story...

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed this series...it was unique, and had a lot of just very raw elements too it...humor, drama, love, hate..and a HEA ending...what more could you ask for!! Have recommended it, and give it 2 thumbs up...hope to read more from the author in the future!!

A bittersweet and emotional ending.

What a perfect ending to this trilogy!! Such wonderful characters, and it was heartbreaking throughout the series to lose certain ones. The world building was so vividly felt and I would LOVE to see this as a movie!!! The first book started out kind of slow and confusing, but then the pace picked up and by the end of book one I needed more!!

I am super excited for Roar’s story!! He was definitely one of my favorite characters, and he deserves his own story!!

The narration was really well done and I enjoyed her version of the character’s voices.

Disappointing

I looked forward to this final book in the series but the growth the main characters demonstrated in the first two books pretty much halted. This book definitely cannot stand alone, needing the prior two to be understood. The narration was bland and emotionless. Sable's behavior was predictable and one dimensional. I did like seeing people begin to work together and the reveal about Aria's father. Otherwise, this was little more than a tidy wrap- up to the trilogy.
