Publisher's summary

The world has fallen in love with Nick Gautier and Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter novels.

Now Nick's saga continues in Infamous, the next eagerly anticipated volume in the Chronicles of Nick series...

Go to school. Get good grades. Stay out of trouble. That's the mandate for most kids. But Nick Gautier isn't the average teenager. He's a boy with a destiny not even he fully understands. And his first mandate is to stay alive while everyone, even his own father, tries to kill him.

He's learned to annihilate zombies and raise the dead, divination and clairvoyance, so why is learning to drive and keep a girlfriend so dang hard? But that isn't the primary skill he has to master. Survival is.

And in order to survive, his next lesson makes all the others pale in comparison. He is on the brink of becoming either the greatest hero mankind has ever known.

Or he'll be the one who ends the world. With enemies new and old gathering forces, he will have to call on every part of himself to fight or he'll lose everyone he cares about.

Even himself.

What does Holter Graham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His accents, emotions that he conveys throughout the whole story.

YES

Any additional comments?

Once again I can't walk away. The narrator is wonderful. If you have never read Sherrilyn Kenyon books you are missing a wonderful vacation from reality, just that boost you need in the middle of a long hard week to get you recharged and ready to go again.

Nick just keeps getting into trouble

Who was your favorite character and why?

Nick is the main character so he is the bvious choice but no it's not him. But Simi is the most funny tension breaker an author has written. As she always wants to eat the "heifer goddess" is hilarious and her excitement to eat demons and other beings, especially covered in bbq sauce, is also great entertainment. But her love for QVC and diamondique is also funny aspect of her character, give her your credit card and turn on the TV and she just sits and waits for the time to eat them demons covered in bbq sauce.

What does Holter Graham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Great voice made for characterization of the written words of amazing authors. He uses simple inflection in his voice to make not only the main characters stand out but many of the characters that come and go through out this series. I wouldn't hesitate to pick up an audiobook in which Graham has narrated because I feel he will make the words come alive.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, as with all of books in this series "The Chronicles of Nick" have been hard to stop listening to or stop reading in one session. In fact listening to these books has caused at least one or two late nights listening to or reading these books way past the time for bed and sleep. This book and the others have even captured the attention of my pre-teen and teenage sons. They would make sure the story was playing on long road trips and make sure it was paused and no one listened to it until everybody was in the car so no part of the story was missed.

Clarity Is What I Felt!!

Am enjoying this series more and more with each book i read. I would rate this book higher than the first 2 just for the main reason of things getting much clearer for Nick and actually for us too.I like how many times I laugh while reading Sherrilyn Kenyon's work and this book was no different, many funny things happened here specially what Babba.

You get to see how powerful Nick is and to what point he can reach to help those who he love.

Will get the 4th book soon to read it before the 5th one is released.

Looking forward to know how Nick's future will be like.

Continues to entertain

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend this series to all who love the fantasy genre from the Iron Druid to anything in the Dresden files arena. It is written for a younger audience but I have found that each book has developed in a relatively sophisticated and entertaining manner. It seems critical to read the books in sequence as they do become more complex, but the ultimate plot is still a simple good vs. bad with healthy doses of light humor, and young adult relationships. I am, by anyone's definition, an old adult but have found Nicks adventures interesting and the deeper plot lines involving the supernatural and fantastic quite smart. The narrator is terrific with both pace and voicing's.

Best Book in the Series Yet

The Chronicles of Nick keeps getting better. In this book, Kenyon continues to give more depth to her characters and they really seem to be actual people they all have that much history and depth to them.

At the same time Nick is growing into his demon powers very fast. The question is can he control them or will they control him?

Can't wait for the next book to come out.

Slit my wrists depressing

I thought Acheron's story was wrist slitting depressing, but I was wrong! Seriously, we get it. Nick is poor. Nick gets the short end of every single stick. Give us more storyline and less "poor me". I can't finish this because so far I haven't read anything positive and it is the most depressing book ever. Clean socks and bubblegum for Christmas but his mom collects Chinese figurines? Seriously?
