Awesome book could have been better voice acted

The voice acting didn't seem to fit the characters very much at all however the actual book was quite enticing and led me into a wonderful fantasy world that I can't wait to continue with the next book. I just hope it's with a different voice actor

Charming and a Fun Read

Super charming and enjoying. I think the story dragged a little in the middle but it picked back up again later.

I've seen the film before knowing it was based on a book and am really happy I found this and got to read it. It was nice to see the source material for the film and there was more background on things that were sort of glanced over in the movie (ex- the scarecrow/prince character). At the same time you realize that there are a lot of things that happened in the film that aren't from the book as well.

Loved it and am debating on getting the other books in the series- I saw from reviews that the next books are not about Howl and Sophie but that they make an appearance so I may end up reading them in the future.

Great Narration to a simple but great classic

Of course I picked up this book because I watched the movie when I was younger.
Although I still remembered parts of the movie, I could really enjoy this book as it is quite different.

This story is simple. No guessing games and you can predict some of the events that will occur in the future, yet it has a nice charm to it that keeps you listening to it from beginning to end.

Then there is the narration that really compliments this classic tale. You can really feel each characters' unique personalities.

Would recommend this book to anyone young or old.

Classic

I had to read as I love the Ghibli movie. I found myself of course enthralled in the book version even moreso. the characters are wonderful, the world more magical, and the atmosphere so charming.
I will be reading this over and over.
