She’s learning to be happy... on her own.
Myra is used to keeping her feet firmly on the ground. She’s got four younger brothers, overworked parents, and a pregnant older sister, and if Myra wasn’t there to take care of everyone, they’d probably fall apart. But when her boyfriend unceremoniously dumps her, Myra feels like she’s lost her footing. Suddenly she’s doing things she never would have a few months earlier: jumping around in a chicken suit for a part-time job, competing against her ex-boyfriend for a scholarship to study birds in the Galápagos, and falling for a guy who’s encouraging her to leap from her old life... and fly.
With plenty of heart and humor, Kristin Chandler tells a story that will make you feel good from the soles of your feet to the tips of your wings.

I thought this was a feel good cute story. One that makes you root for the main character and feel good afterwards.
Yes. It was an easy listen and I liked the characters.
Loved it when the teacher discovered she had discounted the main character's intelligence.
No extremes. Just a good story about a girl who discovers things about herself and the people around her.
Totally enjoyed this book! I'm waiting for the narrator to read more books, she is on of my favorites!
I like to read VERY much .. I'm obsessed with reading I don't have time to actually read a book so I've been a listener for three years now
it wasn't long and the performance was good
hmmm .. maybe the scene where Melissa asks Myra not to leave her while she is delivering the baby , it gave me the feeling of how important she is in the family
her speed in the reading was good , but she needs to have more voices for the characters
the scene when Melissa came to pick up Myra though she shouldn't drive
it was a light cute story good for a weekend :)
