Stellar!

This series is incredible and I cannot wait for the next book. The narrator does a great job which just ups the creep factor.

Way to leave us hanging Barry. Thanks. Thanks a lot.

How can a story end in the middle of something so

Would you listen to Game again? Why?

Yes.
It twists and turns, keeping you guessing. I like the characters.

Have you listened to any of Charlie Thurston’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I Hunt Killers - the first book.

LEt's play a game

If you could sum up Game in three words, what would they be?

good, slow, unbelievable

Would you recommend Game to your friends? Why or why not?

I probably wouldn't. It's a little "childish" the only way I can think to describe it is if it wasn't quite so morbid at times, it may be more fitting for a 16 year old to read

What does Charlie Thurston bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I really did like his reading voice. I think he's good playing other characters and also his inner thought voice is good

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

sorry to say it wasn't. I DID like it but it took me forever to finish & I kept finding myself distracted

Any additional comments?

this was good and I feel like I will probably read the next one. I just found myself not listening or getting distracted easily so i'm not sure I loved it

Amazing book

This is a great book with tons of action. It keeps you wanting more. It has tons of details so you know what's happing. And I love how every now and then you get humor that makes you laugh out loud. But my favorite part of this is the plot twist, you never know what will happen next.

To much..

The book is great but it just had repeating inner thoughts from the main character. We get your plight now move on. Also, these people seem a little dumb because they do nothing that is logical. I get they are telling the story with twist and turns but they are just stupid (literally). I figured out the twist or plot 2/4 of the way in. It's just a little to obvious. BUT I still love the book and it's characters. Moving directly onto book 3 now!

Perfect follow up

After I Hunt Killers, Game was the perfect follow up, with an amazing plot to continue the story of jasper dent and the hunt for his father

A Great Sequel to I Hunt Killers

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This book is a bit graphic for the YA set, but as an adult who reads and reviews quite a few YA books and loves thrillers, this was a great listen. The book is full of gruesome crimes and depraved killers, but it also features the strength of friendship. There's a lot going on in this sequel- the story expanding from a small town boy dealing with his serial killer father's legacy, to New York City and the possibility that Jasper's dad is on the hunt again. While Jasper helps the cops in NYC, Howie and Connie are dealing with a mystery a little closer at home. The end of the book leaves several cliffhangers that will have you desperate for the next book!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Game?

The ending had me on the edge of my seat! The stakes have gotten so much higher in this third book, and the fate of the main characters had my pulse racing!

What about Charlie Thurston’s performance did you like?

Thurston stepped up his performance for this second book, and while I thought he did an okay job in I Hunt Killers, I much preferred his narration in Game. I'm including him in my "favorite narrators" list now. ;)

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

"Losing this game could be deadly"

Deliciously Creepy

The suspense is definitely ramped up in this one!! Great series. I still have no idea whether Jazz will be a serial killer or be redeemed. Since I am not familiar with this author until this series, I have no idea if he values the lives of his main characters or not. Right now it doesn't look good for anyone. We shall see. This ending is a cliffhanger. Reader beware. I will admit that if everyone dies and Jazz gives in to his upbringing, my next review will be decidedly lower!!
