Adds some depth but some repeat also

It was nice to hear Four's point of view. and sheds light on his actions in the Divergent book. some of it was close to what we knew already. I would no reccommend this if you have not already read th Divergent series, especially book 1

Great read

Great to experience Four's backstory and events from his point of view. The danger in Dauntless started early.

My favorite trilogy without any doubt!

I'm happy that I finally read all the 4 books, it took like 3 months for me. I loved to read this trilogy, the way that the author created all the story is so fantastic. All the four books is like a roller coaster of emotions.

Great addition to Diverent... doesn't stand alone

I would definitely recommend getting this compilation of the Four stories, versus buying them individually. Together they are worth the credit, in my opinion. I liked the additional in-depth details that we get about Four, and Aaron Stanford both has the right voice to fit Four, and did a great job bringing Four and his story to life. Aaron acted the part in such a way that he pulls you in and makes you feel what's happening.
Although much of the story was previously known, we get a lot more detail and insight into Four and his perspective, as well as some details previously unknown, especially about Four prior to meeting Tris. Once the story begins to overlap with the Divergent time-line, it is true that most of the details are already known; however, there is new information about what Four was doing and feeling during that time when Tris wasn't around. Also, Aaron did a great job of expressing Four's emotions and turmoil during this overlapping time, which we didn't get much of in Divergent.
Finally, this is not a book that stands alone. you need to read (or listen to) Divergent first. If you don't, it will be very disjointed, hard to follow & probably disappointing. I would've preferred the last chapter of additional content be included in the appropriate places in the book. It didn't make any sense to me for them to be included at the end in a separate chapter. Also, the ending was abrupt and weird. Again, taken on context with Divergent, it's okay, although still feels lacking to me, but would not stand alone.
Overall, I definitely recommend this book, as long as you take it as an addition to the Divergent story, as I believe the author meant it to be. This audio version is well acted and entrenching, which makes it worth the money and time, to me.

Better than Divergent

I come put this down this was an amazing book it was better than divergent and I really hope they make a movie on this one I'm ready for the sequel to four

The whole Divergent Collection was amazing!! Loved it!! So much better to me personally than Hunger Games which it was said to be "ripped off from"...

Narrator is awesome! Great book to see Four's point of view. His path into the workings of Dauntless. How Tris and his friends make him feel.
