Listeners first encountered Tobias Eaton as "Four" in Divergent. His voice is an integral part of Allegiant. Listeners will find more of this charismatic character's backstory told from his own perspective in Four: A Divergent Collection. When heard together, these long narrative pieces illuminate the defining moments in Tobias Eaton's life.

The first three pieces in this volume - "The Transfer", "The Initiate", and "The Son" - follow Tobias' transfer from Abnegation to Dauntless, his Dauntless initiation, and the first clues that a foul plan is brewing in the leadership of two factions. The fourth story, "The Traitor", runs parallel with the events of Divergent, giving listeners a glimpse into the decisions of loyalty - and love - that Tobias makes in the weeks after he meets Tris Prior. "Fantastic! addition to the series"
Would you consider the audio edition of Four: A Divergent Collection to be better than the print version?

This audio version of four is brilliant, it takes a little getting used to hearing the full book from fours perspective but would definitely recommend it. If you loved the Divergent collection and was sad when it ended this extra edition just gives you that little bit more.

    "A different point of view"

Insightful, but when running it straight after Divergent as I did the similarities can at first feel like an error in writing, like the author can only describe the same things we encounter with both characters one way, even though it's through the eyes of Tobias instead of Tris.
It's only when you press further in and the story being told opens up do you feel you are getting a fuller picture of the events of the first book, and prior to it.

Excellent voice performance, and the way he relates his life with his abusive father. You can feel the conflict within him and how it has affected his trust issues.

All in all an excellent addition to the audible library.

    "Very good"

It was very good however there was some things missing that turned up at the end but apart from that it was great and I would advise this book and all the divergent books

"Great but the end is very disjointed..."

Loved this audiobook. It adds a great dynamic to the one sided first book. It's really interesting to hear Tobias' thoughts. Just a shame it stops and starts at the end...
