Publisher's summary

In Maggie Stiefvater's Shiver, Grace and Sam found each other. In Linger, they fought to be together. Now, in Forever, the stakes are even higher than before. Wolves are being hunted. Lives are being threatened. And love is harder and harder to hold on to as death comes closing in.

I loved this series!

I instantly fell in love with this book, and the woods, and Same and Graces love! I wish there was more too it, but it will be a series I remember forever!

Unsatisfactory ending

I adored this story ... until the end. I was left with too many questions. It almost ruined the entire series.

Performences are top notch, however. Great job by all four!

Finishing this series is so Complex.

if you've made it to Forever, you are already emotionally invested in Sam and Grace.

Forever will make you emotinally invested in Isabelle, and, even if it's unwilling, into Cole.

You will smile with Rachel You will be complicated with Grace. You will be furious with Cole. You will, without a doubt, feel every. Single. One. Of Sam's emotions.

Finishing this series made me want to cry. Not in a way you would imagine. But because the end of hearing Sam and Grace's written story is painful. Hearing it, I believe, is the painful part. The narrators of this story make them so real it can't be any other way.

It's amazing. And it's going to hurt. And I'm going to listen to this series again and again and I will never lose the fascination.

Good ending but last two books

I have enjoyed Forever, it was a nice and satisfying conclusion. But like Linger and Forever, it felt unnecessary to continue with the series. She could have stopped at Shiver and I would have been happy with that. But the whole series I give a 4 stars out of 5.

Confusing

I'm not quite sure what this story is about anymore. The first in this series is the most coherent one.

OK

Where does Forever rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

in the top 20%.

Would you be willing to try another book from Maggie Stiefvater? Why or why not?

I love Maggie's 'quirky' approach and is now my 2nd favourite author. Her observations and comparisons are interesting, surprising and so true. This series of books is like an introduction to an imaginative writing style, Raven Boys is even better.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I particularly like the characters Cole and Isabelle, for a Mother of 2 school aged kids, the teen-ness of the books gets a little much but those two characters allow me to relate better to them and somehow Cole's quips make me sadly smile. Lifes twists and turns do seem pretty brutal and the hope that Cole presents in being able to redeme ones self is a positive influence on the book.

Any additional comments?

Can't wait to hear more of Maggie's books. Her approach is refreshing and seems to present thoughts that sometimes you think you might have had if you could have focused on them, but are so elusive.

Different but Good

The one different thing about her books is that each character has a different voice. (different narrator) At first this was odd, but it really works well for the story. I thought the end was a bit open ended, but I'd heartily recommend it to anyone along with the other books in the series.
I read that someone thought Sam was a bit Emo but I didn't get that feeling at all. I thought he was sweet, but not soft, if that explains it correctly.
