Publisher's summary

You have half our gifts, I have the other ...

When English girl Sky catches a glimpse of bad boy Zed in her new American high school, she can't get him out of her head. He talks to her with his thoughts. He reads her mind. He is the boy she will love for ever. Shadows stalk her past but a new evil threatens her future. She must face the dark even if it means losing her heart. Will Sky have the strength to embrace her power and be brave enough to control her own destiny, or will the demons of her past prevent her from realizing her true potential?

What the Narrator Says

"I absolutely loved narrating this trilogy. YAF is a guilty pleasure of mine and I really fell for all of the Benedict brothers! I think my favourite is Stealing Phoenix - she's such a fab character, full of fire (to match Yves's) and really feisty. But the big question is - who's your favourite Benedict boy? I think mine is probably Zed for his dark moodiness although I really like Xavier's great sense of humour." Lucy Price-Lewis, narrator of Joss Stirling's Trilogy.

My favorite series of books

This trilogy is my first time reading besides the Harry Potter books and I am addicted to it. I have the books and keep listening to the audio books on repeat. I really wish these books get their movies but that's far from happening. I'll just day dream about being a friend of the Benedicts and living in their world.

Not great.

One of my favorite readers, but I almost couldn't finish this one. She really overacted the American teenager voices and attitude. In addition the author has a clunky grasp of idiomatic American English usage. No American teenage boy would say "Go put on my dressing gown."

Adored this charming paranormal

Where does Finding Sky rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Not sure about a ranking system, since I read a eclectic range of books. I thought Finding Sky was one of the better YA/NA books I have listened to, and it definitely worked well as an audio/audible book. The reader was perfect. She is one of my favorites.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved Sky. Her snarky British sense of humor is perfection, and she was a genuinely nice person, as well.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved any of the interactions between the hero and Sky, especially when they were bantering back and forth. There was a lot of charm, humor and tenderness between the two main characters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I found this book difficult to put down, and I got a bit snarly when I was interrupted. I have purchased the next two in the series, and am happy that the same reader is doing both.

Any additional comments?

This novel is the perfect combination of reader and content. Loved it, and I hope to see the reader do many more novels with British heroines. She is perfect.

I kind of regret using a credit on this one

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

The first half - yes. The second have I found myself frustrated with the heroine's actions. Did she ever show her strengths?!?!?

Any additional comments?

The narrator did an amazing job.

I think this book should have had a sequel about Sky. I think the heroine has a lot of growing (up) to do. It did not feel complete. The next book is about Phoenix and Yves.

I am not sure this book was worth an audible credit. I may listen to the next book in the series if the audio version goes on sale not more than $1.99. You can get the audio version for $4.49 if you buy the kindle version for $12.99. These books are not cheap.

After listening to Sky's story, I feel the ending was too quick and sweet, in other words unbelievable. Sky does not know how to use her powers completely. She was just starting to understand them from those few lessons in the end.

I will not be so quick to spend my Audible credit on the next book, if I ever have the urge.

Might have liked it better if I'd read it myself

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Listening and reading a book is ALWAYS time well spent!!!!!

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The most interesting aspect is that the main character is moved from her own familiar surroundings to a new place. Not only is the character adjusting to a new life and cultivating new relationships she also learned that she has an interesting ability.

How could the performance have been better?

So, what I liked most about the narrator is that she has an English accent and the main character is from England. The character's voice is perfect however, when the narrator does an American males voice, they all sound the same and they've got an annoying, stuffy nosed sort of sound :( I honestly thought the story was pretty good but I stopped listening to the book because the narrator's voice was sub par.

Did Finding Sky inspire you to do anything?

..haha, read a different book? ;)

Any additional comments?

My advice to those who enjoy YA, Paranormal, fiction is to read this book on your own. I believe you would enjoy the story much better.
