You have half our gifts, I have the other ...
When English girl Sky catches a glimpse of bad boy Zed in her new American high school, she can't get him out of her head. He talks to her with his thoughts. He reads her mind. He is the boy she will love for ever. Shadows stalk her past but a new evil threatens her future. She must face the dark even if it means losing her heart. Will Sky have the strength to embrace her power and be brave enough to control her own destiny, or will the demons of her past prevent her from realizing her true potential?
What the Narrator Says
"I absolutely loved narrating this trilogy. YAF is a guilty pleasure of mine and I really fell for all of the Benedict brothers! I think my favourite is Stealing Phoenix - she's such a fab character, full of fire (to match Yves's) and really feisty. But the big question is - who's your favourite Benedict boy? I think mine is probably Zed for his dark moodiness although I really like Xavier's great sense of humour." Lucy Price-Lewis, narrator of Joss Stirling's Trilogy.

"An edge-of-your-seat paranormal romance for girls who want more than just a romance." (Lovereading4kids)
"Joss Stirling is such a talented writer with imaginative storylines, exciting and fast-paced plots which are thrilling and full of suspense." (Book Passion for Life Blogspot)
Not sure about a ranking system, since I read a eclectic range of books. I thought Finding Sky was one of the better YA/NA books I have listened to, and it definitely worked well as an audio/audible book. The reader was perfect. She is one of my favorites.
I loved Sky. Her snarky British sense of humor is perfection, and she was a genuinely nice person, as well.
I loved any of the interactions between the hero and Sky, especially when they were bantering back and forth. There was a lot of charm, humor and tenderness between the two main characters.
I found this book difficult to put down, and I got a bit snarly when I was interrupted. I have purchased the next two in the series, and am happy that the same reader is doing both.
This novel is the perfect combination of reader and content. Loved it, and I hope to see the reader do many more novels with British heroines. She is perfect.
Just trying to find my next great read
The first half - yes. The second have I found myself frustrated with the heroine's actions. Did she ever show her strengths?!?!?
The narrator did an amazing job.
I think this book should have had a sequel about Sky. I think the heroine has a lot of growing (up) to do. It did not feel complete. The next book is about Phoenix and Yves.
I am not sure this book was worth an audible credit. I may listen to the next book in the series if the audio version goes on sale not more than $1.99. You can get the audio version for $4.49 if you buy the kindle version for $12.99. These books are not cheap.
After listening to Sky's story, I feel the ending was too quick and sweet, in other words unbelievable. Sky does not know how to use her powers completely. She was just starting to understand them from those few lessons in the end.
I will not be so quick to spend my Audible credit on the next book, if I ever have the urge.
Listening and reading a book is ALWAYS time well spent!!!!!
The most interesting aspect is that the main character is moved from her own familiar surroundings to a new place. Not only is the character adjusting to a new life and cultivating new relationships she also learned that she has an interesting ability.
So, what I liked most about the narrator is that she has an English accent and the main character is from England. The character's voice is perfect however, when the narrator does an American males voice, they all sound the same and they've got an annoying, stuffy nosed sort of sound :( I honestly thought the story was pretty good but I stopped listening to the book because the narrator's voice was sub par.
..haha, read a different book? ;)
My advice to those who enjoy YA, Paranormal, fiction is to read this book on your own. I believe you would enjoy the story much better.
An easy to listen, lightly paranormal book. This is the first of the Benedict Brothers books and I think the best. The storyline isn't predictable. Good narrator that fitted well with the book. An easy 4 stars.
"Great listen, not just for teens"
Looking for something my wife and I might enjoy on a long journey, the recommendations made this sound like a possible. Actually we both loved it so much we couldn't stop listening! It dominated our holiday - we had to download the second and third books too!
The narration was pretty good. A challenging range of accents, most of which were OK. It's one of those situations where if you don't notice anything it must be good! Only occasionally did I cringe at a poor accent that distracted me from the otherwise engrossing story.
We can't believe that we spent about 25 hours of our holiday listening to all three (currently) of the books in this series, but no regrets, they were great.
As soon as there's another book we'll download it without hesitation. A great listen, thank you.
"The best romance I've read in ages"
Brilliantly read by Lucy Price-Lewis, this is well worth a listen. Bright and funny, Sky is a heroine you can identify with, and her relationship with Zed is touchingly described. Romance and danger, well written – what more could you want? The Benedict Brothers are hot! I'm moving immediately on to the next book.
"Good start to YA series"
This book is action packed in the sense that two more soul finders are discovered by the Benedicts and one of them is a very rare soul seeker who helps with the strength and love of her soul finder to rescue the soul finders and bring them back to the Benedicts. They may be broken thanks to an old enemy's mother trying to erase their brains, but with the seekers skills, anything is possible and Crystal will do whatever she can to put back what is right.
Joss Stirling has not disappointed with this book as it still has the English anecdotes that make her stories full of humour and an easy, enjoyable read.
It is not clear if there is going to be a fourth book, waiting to hear, but I hope there is as I would love to know whether the remaining three Benedicts do successfully find their soul finders.
"Another version/take of twilight saga!"
Not for adults, a teen novel. I should have taken note when the books were offered as 3 for 2 credits.
"Very catching tale and well narrated"
Loved the story and the narrator was also perfect for this book. Went and bought the other two also. Hope these are as good as the one I read. :)
One of the best books I have ever listened too, you are introduced to an entirely new world and shown the good and bad side of this world immediately. Sky has been abandoned as a child and had suffered severe tragedy in which she cannot even remember let alone she couldn't even remember her own name. Fast forward to moving to the USA with her parents and meets the bad boy Zed Benedict and thats where things get really interesting. She is his soulfinder.
One of the sweetest and actioned packed beginning love stories I have ever listened to, and completely utterly obsessed about. You got to have a listen and fall in with the Benedict brothers.
