"A terrific read! Sorrells masterfully sustains suspense throughout." (Booklist)
Even though I am an adult, I enjoy listening and reading young adult fiction. This was a good action/suspense novel. A lot of loose threads are neatly pulled together and by the end I could see how everything was woven together. Even though, throughout the book, it seemed like there couldn't be any correlation from previous events to current ones I think the author did a good job of explaining the connections. This is one book with a lot of puzzles to figure out. The solutions aren't obvious so you're really anxious until the end, to find out the answers.
Honestly I'd give it 3 1/2 stars, but where is that ever an option?
I originally bought this for my teenage daughter, thinking it would appeal to her, but I ended up liking it myself.
Nice story, and I think it would DEFINITELY make a great movie. All kinds of rooting for the good guy feeling running through it.
Adults will like it also, in case they assumed it was for young adults. I think that's where the title came up, in a search under that classification.
