Brendan, did great job on this book of the fable Haven series it's one of my favorites.
It is fun to see how Seth develops in this book.
By the time you're halfway through the book you cannot put it down.
This is a must for children or anyone for that matter. The whole series is a must read but this one in particular has a few of my favorite elements. The other magical creature preserve they visit is spectacular. The pacing is perfect, the descriptions really bring you there, this is a magical vacation. Now I'm just waiting for the rest of the series to come up.
It's fun and light and magical.
E. B. Stevens is not my favorite (sry) but favorite characters abound none the less. Patton is an obvious standout and the voice of the demon was well done.
Forget Hogwarts, leave Narnia behind the real adventure awaits at Fablehaven! (please god say they are making these into movies!)
Not to be missed.
