In Kerstin Gier's Emerald Green, Gwen has a destiny to fulfill, but no one will tell her what it is. She’s only recently learned that she is the Ruby, the final member of the time-traveling Circle of Twelve, and since then nothing has been going right. She suspects the founder of the Circle, Count Saint-German, is up to something nefarious, but nobody will believe her.
And, she’s just learned that her charming time-traveling partner, Gideon, has probably been using her all along. This stunning conclusion to The Ruby Red Trilogy picks up where Sapphire Blue left off, reaching new heights of intrigue and romance, as Gwen finally uncovers the secrets of the time-traveling society and learns her fate.

Nothing I love more than a well-rounded character and intense plot.
What a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. May contain minor spoilers.
I love how neatly everything about Gwen's family was tied up - it was an excellent decision on Gier's part to head in that direction.
I love that the butler gets in on the adventurous action!
Nothing in the world is going to convince me to get behind Gideon, however, but that's mostly because I'm really bored of the Darcy trope. I get it, he's mean because he loves you. I did like their ending, it was sweet and well-deserved.
I love to read. On average I read and/or listen to more than 100 books a year. Audible has been a fantastic addition to my life. Love it!
I am so sad to reach the end of this trilogy. I feel like I could have read this forever. I was able to get completely lost in the world Gier created. This is one of those series like Harry Potter or the Hunger Games that will suck in any reader.
The book could have used some more lighthearted-ness. A teenager going through this much negativity ( all 3books) would not have handled things as portrayed.
There was too much reference to very historical figures without ever properly explaining the significance.
Not a great narrator
Yes because the book is not lengthy .
I have 3 kids that occupy all the TV's in the house...enough said...addicted to audiobook ....shhhh don't tell my husband ;-)
I LOVED IT! I like to dapple in YA books and I was pleasantly surprise to come across this gem of a story ( I couldn't help the pun ). Great paranormal mystery, across between time travelers wife and Harry Potter. Gwen at 16 finds herself blinking back to the past, gift with the time travel gene she hurtled into life of mysterious secret society where she is cautioned not to trust anyone, not even her own feeling. Buy all 3 at once because this is a non-stop listen.
