Second favorite in the series

I love Twilight

loved it.. and Edward 🤣 I am a huge fan of twilight. and this has got to be my very favorite book.

Not the best nor the worst of the Twilight Saga

Always listen to the Twilight books on Audible in 1.25 or 1.5x speed, otherwise you will fall asleep. I understand that the narrator needs to read slowly, but luckily you have the option to speed things up.

Eclipse has more action than New Moon, but some of the plots are a little forced. Stephenie Mayer herself has admitted that the two middle books were part of her book deal, rather than a necessity for the story. Either way, I am a big Twilight fan and I generally like all the books.

Sometimes the narrator's voice is too monotonous and melancholic, even when it doesn't need to be. She reads all the characters with the same intonation, which I prefer if the narrator is not that good with voices. There's nothing worse than a narrator that fails at voice disguise and I appreciate that Ms. Kadushin does not attempt unnecessary feats like that.

Again, this is a good book, lots of fun and suspense, but also one of the greatest love stories of the 21st Century.

I love how they can finally be together and not hold back.

Which scene was your favorite?

I think the talk about them having sex and discussing how to make eachother happy was my favorite. I actually laughed because what teenage couple talks like that

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. It is hard to stop listening once you start.

Loved the book, hated the narrator!

Love the Twilight books! After reading books 1 & 2, I couldn't put them down to do anything else. I put book 3 on my ipod. Such a dissappointment! The book is wonderful. The narrator is awful!!!! I will not buy the other 3 on audio unless they redo them with a different narrator. I have listened to or own dozens of audio books. The narrator can make or break your enjoyment.

Totally enjoyed listening as my most recent "rereading" of this book.

My favorite part this time were the mountain top scenes.

The only minor irritation in listening vs reading is that Bella seemed a little more whiney.

It seemed like there were going to be 2 narrators throughout the book this time, but that didn't occur...That could've been better or worse.

(I hope there's more than one for the next book...There'll be so many more characters added!)

I like the narrator

Contrary to some, I actually like the narrator. SHe does read a bit slow than if we were reading it ourselves, but she is good. AFter reading the other 2 Twilight SEries, I must say Bella is starting drive me crazy, talk about indecision with what she wants and a big big worry wart. Don't know how many times Edward and Jacob have told her not to worry. Also not to be able to tell Jacob that stop trying to kiss me, I love Edward would be a nice start. Jacob is right she is being really unfair to both. I am droning down my excitement on the series now. I heard this one is based on Wuthering Heights and the last one on Romeo and Juliet. A bit of originality would of been better as they could of been done so much better!!

Revisiting

As I've gotten older I have realized how selfish Bella really was. The story is decently entertaining.
