Publisher's summary

A girl who believes trust can be misplaced, promises are made to be broken, and loyalty is an illusion.

A boy who believes truth is relative, lies can mask unbearable pain, and guilt is eternal.

Will what they find in each other validate their conclusions, or disprove them all?

Enjoyed

Would you consider the audio edition of Easy to be better than the print version?

I will say that choosing the audio over the print will be hard. I loved reading the print book but I also enjoyed listening to the story being brought to life.

Just what the doctor ordered :)

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely, it's a very pleasant read. I enjoyed the author's writing style and the narrator was good as well.

Any additional comments?

This book is definitely geared towards younger adults but I still liked it.

Story would have been better with both points of view combined.

Story would have been better with both points of view combined. It was great in covering rape on college campuses. As a former sorority girl and little sister to a fraternity, I can attest that rape does happen on campus. One of my sisters was a victim coming home from a frat party. For me, was lacking because did not know how Landen felt.

Didn't Want to Stop Listening

I listened to this book in one day! I usually save books for when I'm traveling for work, but I couldn't wait. I think the summary is deliberately vague because it's too easy to give spoilers or miss the mark when describing this book. You feel invested in the characters from the start...It manages some difficult topics without being over-the-top. The narrator was a good choice - she managed college-aged voices very well and her male voices were fairly good. I actually loved this book (and not only because it was so inexpensive)!

A Good YA Romance

What made the experience of listening to Easy the most enjoyable?

The narrator was very good. Her voice didn't distract from the story. In fact, she was so good that I almost didn't notice her at all- that is actually a very high compliment.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Easy?

Well, this is definitely on the more "mature" end of the YA spectrum. Those mature moments were particularly memorable.

Any additional comments?

If you enjoy YA romance novels that you can gobble up in one sitting, then you will probably love this book.

A really nice story.

Where does Easy rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's up there.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes indeed. Luckily I have a job where I am able to do that.

Any additional comments?

Some heavy subject manner that was handled well. A witty, wonderful heroine, and a seriously dreamy knight in shining armor. And even better, she saved him right back. I highly recommend this book.

*Emotionally sweet romance*

Even though this book is a young adult listen it has a good story line.
If you let the age of the characters (college kid's) throw you off.. you'll be missing a good book.

This is not a typical feel good romance.
There are some scenes that are disturbing.
The book however is not very graffic and that makes it easier to get through those scenes.
The romance between the characters blossoms slowly.
The sex scenes are sexy but not over the top (not a lot of detail).
The language is very mild as well.
I got this book on sale and I'm happy with my purchase.
For someone who is used to listening to erotic romance I'm actually surprised I liked it.
I don't think I would have spent a credit on it though.
But.. on sale it's sertanly worth a listen!

Surprisingly good!

I was just looking for a fun book to pass the time, but I wound up really enjoying the story. I laughed (out loud!), I teared up, I had a really hard time pausing the book.

One downfall: the way the narrator pronounced the main character, Jacqueline's, name. It almost sounded like she was saying "Ja-quell-in" or "Jack-well-in." Drove me up a wall!

So Great Listen to it Twice

If you could sum up Easy in three words, what would they be?

I was so happy that she finally reported the attempted rape and I'm glad lucas was there to help.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lucas because he was a bad kid turned into a great student and was a hard worker.
