The best book I've read in a long time!!!

I love this book, this is one of the best books I've read in a long time. So much emotion, It actually brought tears to my eyes.

Pretty good, but narrator didn't help

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Change the narrator. She spoke so slowly and without emotion. She made the main character sound frumpy, boring, and emotionless. It didn't sound like she cared about anything. She also made Will and Brand sound bad. It was really hard to picture them as people who were supposed to be irresistible. Brand's accent was bad. The only person that she gave emotion to was the roommate. I would have enjoyed this much more with a different narrator.

Was Cursed worth the listening time?

Yes. Overall it was a decent book and I'll get the next one. I liked how close she was with her best friend and roommate, Tara. It made me want a friend like that. It annoyed me a little that Tara does so much for Lily, and Lily doesn't do much in return. I also had a hard time believing Brand - He seemed so fake and loved her immediately without knowing anything about her. I liked her lifelong connection with Will. I was disappointed in learning something about 'Will', but I won't say it here because it will spoil for other people. I was also surprised that there was no sex in this book, and they were even reluctant to kiss. I am older than the intended audience though.

Any additional comments?

I've read a few series about angels lately. So far, I liked this about as much as the Fallen series, but not as much as the Premonition series. not sure if that helps anyone.

Mysterious Hunky Men!

Story was interesting, filled with details of the emotions felt! Looking forward to the rest of the trilogy, to get some answers!

Pretty Good!

My wife had read these and suggested it to me. I was between Star Wars novels, so I tried it. My understanding is that it is one of the author’s first books. I can see that.

Overall, it is a very very good book. Some elements seemed very rushed (think the last two episodes of GoT and saying “well that devolved quickly”), but overall, it was very good.

Narrator was also good, but sometimes the choice of tone for an 18 year old girl was a bit “too much” in places.

Definitely worth a listen and just grabbed the next 2 in the series.

The story is fantastic. The characters are amazing!

I definitely loved the story the best. S.J. West tells a vivid story that captures the reader and holds you captive until the very end!

Which character – as performed by Christa Lewis – was your favorite?

Brand Cole was my favorite character performed by Christa Lewis. She did a great job making all the characters sound different and unique.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I read this in one sitting, I just couldn't put it down! I've already picked up the ebooks for the 2nd and 3rd book.. I just wish they were available on audiobook as well!

Would you listen to Cursed again? Why?

I don't reread books unless I need to remember a previous book before reading the next in a series. I finished the trilogy, so I won't reread.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cursed?

I loved Tara's interrogation of Bran.

Which character – as performed by Christa Lewis – was your favorite?

It was a tie between Tara and Malcolm.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Lily's vulnerability and innocence when she tried to entice Will.

This was the best narrated book I've ever listened to.

idk how to properly rate this book

im barely into it and im moving on. having listened to the watcher chronicles first, i cant handle this narrator. she’s nowhere near as good as ms pressly, sorry to say, and i just can’t listen to any more of this

Great first book

Kinda reminded me of twilight but it's not a bad story. Looking forward to reading the next book. I bought this book along with the narrator for it. I don't think I will get the audio for the rest of the books. All her male characters sounded the same so I had to rewind a few times to be like who was that talking again.

Amazing

I loved the story.
Can not stop reading it. Going now to the second book.
The book will grab you attention from the first pages.
