Publisher's summary

Jacky Faber, Bloody Jack, is back, and this time, she's facing a situation far worse than a ship full of murderous pirates. Curse of the Blue Tattoo, L. A. Meyer's sequel to the enormous popular Bloody Jack, is just as bawdy and entertaining as the original.

Colorful and full of spirit.

This book starts right off where we left off in the last book, and Jackie is going to school to become a proper lady. As you can guess her shenanigans make for quite a time. In a way Jackie reminds me of the unsinkable Molly Brown and her tenacious spirit and never gives up and stays in good cheer. This is such a fun book and I couldn’t put it down. I have already purchased the next book. I laughed so hard when Jackie was making fun of Randall as revenge. It was perfect, and in fact after finishing the book, I went back to listen to it again. I want to give praise to the narrator she makes this character come alive and she also does a good job singing. I fully recommend this book if you want to have some fun.

Such an enjoyable girls odyssey

I read all the books 10 years ago and then listened to them all on Audible. The recorded versions are excellent. I’m listening to them all again

Happily Ever After

After many bad decisions, resulting from her impulsive and juvenile behavior, our heroine winds up once again where she wants to be. I listen to this series at 1.4 speed, easily catching everything. Patrick O’Brian, it will never be, and at times I get a little bit Impatient with the obviousness of the story direction.

More Adventure!

There is never a dull moment when Jacky Faber is around. Just when you think things can't get worse, they do. There are many exciting twists and turns, but in the end Jacky continues to her next adventure.

Great read

I would not recommend this book if you had not read Bloody Jack the first book in the series for that book gets you to fall in love with Jackie and although this book was good the action and parts were pretty slow its more like her daily life as she tried to conform into being a lady. I had to know what happened and the love for the character is what made the book so good overall she gets into a lot of trouble and she gets out of it and it's great to watch her do it I loved it and the performance was amazing. As with the first one the history of the period is accurateish which makes it a time period novel which i really like.

Really good story

The singing drove me nuts but overall I enjoyed the book. The main character does have a tenancy to get on your nerves but the supporting characters help that. It's a perfect book for a long drive.

the ride is so good you only want more

as a fan of this series I can say loved it all this series as in volume 1 took me to higher levels of reading enjoyment from her getting into school to all the adventures to the end I loved, she either has the best of luck or the worst, I can't tell yet looking forward to next volume.
