Excellent follow up to Bloody Jack
What made the experience of listening to Curse of the Blue Tattoo the most enjoyable?
I was hesitant to pick this up, knowing it's set on girl-school, not man-o-war. Silly me. The story continues well, jack keeps on trying to make do and keeps on getting her feet kicked from under her.
What did you like best about this story?
Really growing to hate a few of the characters. But despite that, everybody was quite believable and well fleshed out.
Any additional comments?
Katherine Kellgren is probably the best narrator I've come across.

Cute story, and a fantastic reader!
Though frustrating at times, due to all the mischief she gets into, the story is so cute and hard to put down!
The reader is exceptional and really brings all the characters to life. Highly recommended for an easy, feel good listen!

Entertaining, but not as good as Bloody Jack
I enjoyed this book, but got a little frustrated with Jackie at times. She seemed a lot more intelligent in Bloody Jack! In this book she is a bit more like a teenager with little experience in real life. Perhaps she just needs to go back to sea because she is is more familiar with expectations on water than land. It was still worth reading, and I will get the 3rd book in the series. The narrator was amazing in this book, just like the first one!

Another heart warming tale
I LOVE the narrator, and I love the series. Tis true that landlocked Jackie is less stimulating than pirate fighting Jackie, but there still were great scenes that made me want to be a better person and left me laughing out loud and yelling at the characters. Not quite as good as the first, but really the series is so good, that any book in it is far superior to any other book I have read in the last year.

Is it possible? It just gets better!
I love it when the rest of the series holds up to the standards set by the first. The crazy antics of Jacky continue, and her ability to land in possible situations - and make them seem actually plausible - makes this a captivating novel! I was dubious on getting this one as the main description is so brief it seemed a cop-out, but don't be fooled - this book is so fantastic it doesn't need an elaborate introduction. Katherine rocks it like no one else can, and brings a vivid and entertaining story to messy, zany, heartwarming life!
