The only thing I disliked-being a teenage girl-was that Mitty and Olivia never dated. The last thing to happen with them was a confession of love by Olivia, that's it. It was disappointing that Mitty never told her why he didn't return gratitude. I had to read this book for school, hate reading, and I had not read a thing even though I had a test over the book so adioble helped me by fib nudging the book in a day and not having to read it myself.
My son is an auditory learner, and this helped him to better understand and read the assigned novel.
Even though I bought this audiobook to help my son with his assigned reading for school, my whole family listened because the story and presentation was good and interesting.
My 8 yr old and 12 yr old listened to this book. My 12 yr old has to be forced into reading and becuase of the accent and a minor language barrier, I had to stop the book several times to explain what a phrase meant or what a word means. My 8 yr old loves to read and would stay interested during action sequences but when the book would go into background information it was to advanced. Both had trouble putting past clues together with the clues uncovered toward the end of the book.
The book had great action and a great story, I would suggest this book someone who is able to think back to past clues uncovered by the hero and come to their own possible conclusions before the hero does. Thats the fun of uncovering a mystery!
Anxious, Hopeful, Triumphant
The strong character of the protagonist. He is the epitome of an All-American boy with a hero's heart.
The performance was smooth and clear. Very nice job.
It had very funny parts! Also, if it doesn't make you want to cry at the end, you will certainly get warm fuzzies!
I used this to teach infectious disease to my 7th grade science class. They're a tough sell and they LOVED it!
