A net of shadows begins to tighten around the Shadowhunters of the London Institute. Mortmain plans to use his Infernal Devices, an army of pitiless automatons, to destroy the them. He needs only one last item to complete his plan: He needs Tessa Gray. But can a single girl, even one who can command the power of angels, face down an entire army?

yes, i have many times.
I have never really been a fan of this period in literature, in fact it usually drives me mad, but Cassandra Clare just has a way of telling a story that really speaks to me.
Clockwork Princess brought the Infernal Devices to an end in a beautiful way. It was well narrated and connects with the Mortal Instruments story nicely.
The ending with Tessa and Jem (Brother Zachariah)
He narrated the book well.
I did read it in one sitting as I have a kindle fire and I speed the narration up to get through my books faster.
if you lived the mortal instruments series this is for you it hit all the wins for me
Romance, Shadowhunters and heatbreak
Tessa Gray, she pull everything together
The book grips you, wanting to not stop reading/listening.
Cannot wait until the next series is released
loved this series but would have preferred the same guy from the second book to have done the will, jem, and so on voices. But that's just me
"A great end to the trilogy, much better narration"
Firstly - the narration in this one is great, best of the three by far, and it made a huge difference.
I feel like story wise I enjoyed this one the most as well, not sure how much of that is because I wasn't distracted by awful narration, as was the case with book one and part of book two. It was nice to see the story through and find out what happened to each of the characters, some of it was a bit predictable but I enjoyed it none the less. The tie ins were nicley done, and made me want to go back and read some of Mortal Instruments again, knowing what I know now. All in all a good end to the series - fun , enjoyable , easy listening escapism.
"Loved it and want more"
This book is the icing on the cake for this group of books I am left wanting more I can't wait to see what the author is going to do with the next story what is going to happen with Jem and Tessa are they going to raise Jem's great great niece how will he explain and will Jace find out who Tessa is please keep writing
"A Cracking end to a cracking tale"
Having committed to the "Mortal Instruments Series", this final installment of the "Infernal Instruments" prequel brings a number of twists and turns in the fortunes of favourite characters and some of their forbears to surprising but satisfying ends.
The characters are well drawn and engaging, with the addition of extra layers of pleasing detail to the history and customs of the complex "Shadow" world that the author has created.
Best of all however is the subtle and engaging delivery of Daniel Sharman's narration; finding at last the quality of tenor, accent (Welsh being long overdue for Will) and style which these beautifully developed characters deserve.
Pretty much as good as young adult gothic/fantasy fiction can possibly get.
"alls well and happy for tessa no matter what..."
to find out the ending of the trilogy
just as good, but the narration between two voice actors can be confusing - especially the attempt at male/female or accents
can i say the laugh out loud moment for me was the ending - what? She gets to be with BOTH of them and thats ok with everyone? bit too 'happily' resolved for me.
laughter - another moment, Tessa is prisoner in a cave with an invisible shield that imprisons her, but its ok because Will is walks in to rescue her (I can work with this), now Will is imprisoned too. Tessa is told of her fiances death. Will and Tessa sleep together -. Did i mention the fact that a) theres an invisible shield - any one of those robots or bad guys can walk in on them, and b) Tessa's fiance has just died?????? Clearly Tessa is quite the flaunter.
overall i did enjoy the book, but Clare just seemed to add in so many cliche moments that were so ridiculous considering the characters' situation you cant take it seriously. A trashy read that can keep you occupied for a while, but not one i would read again.
Yes it was breathtaking!!! Amazing ending left me wanting more!!!
Will I loved his devilish humour
Will again he made me laugh cry and frustrated at his lack of confidence!!! Daniel potraited him perfectly
It made me laugh and cry the ending was fantastic just wished it could of gone on and on
If you love the mortal instruments series then this trilogy is a must
"Saved the best for last"
I really wasn't going to bother with the last installment of TID trilogy, but what a waste that would have been DANIEL SHARMAN is epic, from his correct pronunciation of Clares words
(take note lady narrators in the first two books), to his wonderful arsenal of character voices. Beautifully read and a good conclusion to the story. Well worth purchasing.
Will Herondale, solely due to the narrators portrayal .He brought the character to life
The conclusion, I won't say anymore in case it ruins the story for others
Will get a good person to play a plausible heroine in this one folks.# LilyCollinsfreezone
"Get your tissues and take time off from work!!!!"
Oh my God, yes. This is my favourite book I have never been affected by a book in a way Clockwork Princess affected me, beautiful ending to an amazing trilogy. I am so happy I also purchased the audiobook because it is just beautiful. Daniel Sharman did such a great job, I loved his voice, his accents (his Welsh accent is so niiiiice). I will definitely listen to it again.
That's the third and final book in this series so it was good to get answers and see what happened to the characters, Cassandra Clare didn't disappoint, that woman deserves a basket full of cute little kittens. Loved this book.
No, I haven't. That was the first book I ever listened with him narrating it. He has a beautiful voice *swoons* he can also act so you can actually feel what the characters are feeling, he did justice to Will Herondale's voice.
What a silly question, of course I cried. I cried and I ate my weight in chocolates. I'm telling you this book is amazing and so it is the audio,
Read Clockword Angel and the sequel Clockwork Prince before this one, listen to the audio books, pick a team, tell your friends and drive your husband crazy, send an email to Cassandra Clare telling her she is amazing, laugh a bit and cry a bit too.....then move on and start another book..life goes on even if you are forced to understand that Tessa, Will and Jem are not real even if you feel they are the best people in the whole world. Get it?
