Only the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the world of demons, keep order amidst the chaos. Magic is dangerous – but love is more dangerous still.

Only the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the world of demons, keep order amidst the chaos.
Kidnapped by the mysterious Dark Sisters, members of a secret organization called The Pandemonium Club, Tessa soon learns that she herself is a Downworlder with a rare ability: the power to transform, at will, into another person. What’s more, the Magister, the shadowy figure who runs the Club, will stop at nothing to claim Tessa’s power for his own. Clockwork Angel, Book 1 in The Infernal Devices series. "Compulsively readable ... Packed with battles, romantic entanglements, and tantalizing foreshadowing, this will have readers clamoring for the next installment." (Booklist)
This is a fantastic story that is easy to get lost in.
The relationships and fights are well balanced and both are equally interesting
She has done a brilliant job with all the characters.
"Loved it!! A mush read for an fan."
Cassandra Clare is one of my favorite writers. I have read and linseed to almost all if her book. Every one should get a book by her.
I loved how it linked in with the other series. It was just enough with out bein over the top.
I did like her performance but I have listened to better ones. For me it was mainly when she did other peoples voices.
No I think it would spoile it. A film is never better than the book.
Can't wait to get the next one. Xoxo
One of the Best audiobooks I've listened to so far.
Narrator Does a brilliant job of demonstrating the different characters by using different accents and voices
When Tessa walks in on Jem playing his violin
While this book is aimed at the young adult market this is an excellent book for adults too
I had already read Cassie's Clockworl Angel before I downloaded this, but I struggle to re-read books. This is why I turn to Audiobooks. This story is so beautiful and I'm glad I've now been able to experience it twice now. Great story, great audiobook. Now to wait for Clockwork Prince to be released on Audible :)
"Must, must listen"
All the Cassandra Clare books have been gripping with all the same kind of plots following the series. I am not a teenager but have listened to all these I can get my hands on to download. Tha narrator is brilliant at making character changes that make you believe each character is a different narrator
"Great Narrator, I absolutely loved Jennifer Ehle"
I've read this book before so I thought I should give it a go on audio too, I loved the story, Cassandra Clare books are just amazing and this book is definitely a 5 stars book. I'm actually review the audio though, the narration, I completely recommend this book, even if you haven't read it in paper, Jenniffer Ehle is so amazing that you will feel immersed into the story immediately, her voice, accents and even the male voices are amazing, I was totally impressed.
Another great book in the series, I have already read all the Immortal Instruments & Infernal Devices books and loved them so much that I've bought them on Audio book too so I can listen to them again :0)
I think I'm in love with Will Herondale! Ha Ha!
