Captivating!
I loved this entire series & feel Cassandra Clare has one of the most gifted imaginations of authors today. I got lost in the world of shadow hunters & was distracted from the mundane world I live. I look forward to reading her new series in 2015.

Not so whiny...
Would you listen to City of Heavenly Fire again? Why?
Maybe. It was a good book, but I just don't like how it end. I'm not sure of my feeling on this book.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I liked that we did get to see Jonathan as a real human, even if it was for a short time.

Must Read!!
What did you love best about City of Heavenly Fire?
I love TMI Series and Heavenly Fire was the icing on the cake. It was everything I expected and more. The book was fast paced and Cassandra Clare managed to keep me on my toes throughout the book. I loved the way she brought The Shadowhunter Chronicles to full circle. Lots of questions are answered about The Infernal Devices that had me wondering how and why!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Of course Jace and Clary are my favorite characters but as the story progressed I wanted more of Simon and Izzy and Alec and Magnus... Cassandra does an amazing job of switching from character to character and couple to couple.
Which scene was your favorite?
My favorite scene is when Jace nearly killed himself and, as usual, Clary comes to the rescue. But it's the visual of the scene of him kneeling before her and she holding his hands as the heavenly fire descended. Of course the satisfaction of Clary and Jace finally let the inhibitions go and do the do! I mean... All of that built up anxiety cannot be good for anyone!

Would you listen to another book narrated by Jason Dohring and Sophie Turner ?
Sophie Turner gave a great performance! But I cannot say the same for Jason Dohring. I did not like his story telling.

Wonderful Ending - or - New Beginning?
If you could sum up City of Heavenly Fire in three words, what would they be?
Interesting, Complete, and Creative
What about Jason Dohring and Sophie Turner ’s performance did you like?
Poor Jason Dohring - narrating audio books is simply not for you! His performance was poor at best and really detracted from how awesome the book is. Sophie Turner made all of Jason's faults disappear when it was her turn (which thankfully appeared to be more than Jason's time) and I loved her performance.
Any additional comments?
Okay, the "ripping aluminum" sound in hell had to be a joke, right? Otherwise, I enjoyed this end to the second half of the trilogy. I will miss these characters. I think that Magnus Bane, although beloved, is not my favorite character that I would like to hear more about. Cassandra Clare has created a world and characters for me which I will cherish forever and so will you once you read this book!

So good you have to read/listen more than once
This is my third time listening to this series and it is so rich that you find things each time you missed that make it even more compelling. These characters are beautiful and so vividly written.
