Publisher's summary

To save her mother's life, Clary must travel to the City of Glass, the ancestral home of the Shadowhunters -- never mind that enter-ing the city without permission is against the Law, and breaking the Law could mean death.

To make things worse, she learns that Jace does not want her there, and Simon has been thrown in prison by the Shadowhunters, who are deeply suspicious of a vampire who can withstand sunlight.

As Clary uncovers more about her family's past, she finds an ally in mysterious Shadow-hunter Sebastian. With Valentine mustering the full force of his power to destroy all Shadow-hunters forever, their only chance to defeat him is to fight alongside their eternal enemies. But can Downworlders and Shadowhunters put aside their hatred to work together? While Jace realizes exactly how much he's willing to risk for Clary, can she harness her newfound powers to help save the Glass City -- whatever the cost?

Love is a mortal sin and the secrets of the past prove deadly as Clary and Jace face down Valentine in the final installment of the New York Times best-selling trilogy The Mortal Instruments.

Ugh, the narrator…

Please stop hiring narrators that can’t pronounce words correctly. Cringed every time stele or iratze incorrectly.

Story was amazing the narrator was not

I absolutely love these books! I’m still not impressed by the narration. Hopefully Cassandra Claire steers away from her current narrator in the next book

Couldn’t put it down

Out of the first 3 books of this series, this one is a must read. It was hard to put it down, and the twists and turns are great!

Great narrator!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of City of Glass to be better than the print version?

I think both are great. I find audio books to be a great companion to the physical books.

Any additional comments?

Natalie Moore is such a great narrator! She is clear and has great diction and acting. Wonderful. Wish she had done all of the books in the mortal instruments series.

One of my Top Five Favorites!!

So, what do you get when you take a 16 year old New York girl and her family and friends, and throw her into a supernatural world full of action and adventure?? You get this wonderful series, unlike anything I've read, but similar enough that I feel right at home with it's crazy elements. Narrator on the first one is too young (they call this YA, but I don't think so), the second book is better, but this one is hands down the BEST. Hated to finish it-- in three days!! If you like supernatural and romance stuff without crappy over used sex scenes, then you will love this series.

Excellent for all ages!

My daughter suggested Cassandra Clare's series, The Mortal Instruments. I read the first two in paper-back. OUTSTANDING witting by Cassandra Clare, and a great down-load. HIGHLY suggest this one, and the first two, as audio books!
