Publisher's summary

To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, she has endured a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife to reach the ultimate turning point.

Her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the fate of two tribes hangs.

Now Bella has made her decision; a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating and unfathomable consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella's life - first discovered in Twilight, then scattered and torn in New Moon and Eclipse - seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed...forever?

The astonishing, breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic.

Featured Article: The Twilight Saga—Books vs. Movies

Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga is more than just a young adult series—it was a cultural phenomenon that remains popular and continues to influence young adult literature, vampire fiction, youth culture, and pop culture. The original Twilight Saga includes four young adult fantasy romance novels that were released annually from 2005 through 2008. This series was followed by two companion novels, most recently Midnight Sun, and a novella. All four original Twilight books dominated The New York Times best seller list. In 2020, Stephenie Meyer revealed that she was working on two additional novels.

A CUT ABOVE THE REST!

The author absolutely outdid herself with that finale!! i was at the edge of my seat. where the previous installments had fallen short of really leaving a distinct feeling of dread, Breaking Dawn was very successful.

Loved the Narrator through all the books!

Ilyana Kadushin made these 4 books really memorable for me. She caught my attention from the first book right till the very end of the 4th book! I'd seen the movies, but the books are really something else. Great job also on Matt Walters' narration in the book also.

Brought my inner middle school out

I felt everything I felt the first time I read this book. But having someone read it for me was even better. Sure the story may be dumb for most people since vampires and werewolves are outdated and aren't told as it is on behalf of a lot of people. Just give people a break and let them use their imagination! A human falling in love with a vampire who loves her back! Romance at it's finest lol...

Escapism FTW

I first saw the movies some odd years ago and didn't love nor hate them. 3/5 for me. A few weeks ago I was having a hard time falling asleep so I grabbed my sister's Twilight book she forgot here. That was a mistake. I stayed up the entire night reading Twilight and finished the book within a day. I continued reading the rest of the series online, Midnight Sun too, and then started listening to the audiobooks. Which brings me to now. I have finished reading and listening to the entire Twilight Saga. These stories have helped me in a form of escapism during these crazy times. I don't have much to say about the series itself or rather I don't have the time to divulge lol I enjoy the audiobooks more than the movies.

I love this series.

For me this is the book that started it for me. I was in a book store playing chess with my husband, a friend came by and wanted to play so I got up and went to look through the books. and I found this book, with its chess Queen on the front, I honestly thought it was a chess book! I started to read it. By the end of chapter 1 I knew 2 things, 1) this was NOT a chess book, 2) I had to know more! i am so glad i found these!

An amazingly good series

About 14 years later and at least 6 times, reading, watching the movies & now listening to the books it hasn’t lost any of its appeal. It’s very exciting, full of romance and adventures. From teens to elderly can enjoy this series, it has great moral values within the story.

Time and Time Again

I can listen to this book time and time again...and have since it's original release. I love Bella's perspective as well as Jacob's. The book flows seemlessly to a wonderful climax multiple times. It's a ride I'm happy to repeat.

Shouldn’t voice act

Okay the guy who read for Jacob was alright but horrendous when it came to him doing female voices. Terrible. I honestly almost exchanged the title. This dudes voices for females are all the same and as monotonous and irritating as Kristen Stewart’s non-emotional character acting in the movies.
