Her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the fate of two tribes hangs.
Now Bella has made her decision, and a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating and unfathomable consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella's life - first discovered in Twilight, then scattered and torn in New Moon and Eclipse - seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed...forever?
The astonishing, breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic.
Don't miss the other titles in the Twilight Saga.

I was so hooked on Edward I bought and read the book before it showed up on Audible. I was not dissapointed. I read it cover to cover over night, cried and was thrilled with the outcome. Now I'm downloading the story to listen all over agian. Only hoping that this isn't really the end and perhaps there could be one more story to be told.
If you loved the series, you will crave this too.
I hesitated buying a book about "vampires" but the reviews were just too good to pass up and I'm so very happy I purchased this series. I started with Twilight, then New Moon, then Eclipse and finally Breaking Dawn. I loved them all. I liked New Moon the least and liked Twilight and Breaking Dawn the most. I turned my wife on tho this series also and she too was in doubt. She read the first two books in about 14 days and is now reading Eclipse. I had to get use to the reader's voice but now I really like it.
Anyway, without a doubt this book / series is the best I've read and is even better than Pillars of the Earth. I'm a big John Grisham fan and have listened to/read all of his books. Stephenie, I loved this series better than ANY of those also.
Great job and I'd really like to see the characters live again.

I can find a book to love in any genre -- a beautifully written classic, an interesting mystery or sci-fi, a trashy romance. Bring it!
STORY (YA romance) - So I like well-done young adult stories and listen to them occasionally. Even though I'm not a fan of supernatural romances, the thought of a vampire/werewolf love triangle intrigued me, and since the movies based on this series were such huge box office hits, I decided to give the series a try. But...I trudged through each book, thinking the next would be better. The ending of Book 3 even got me excited that Book 4 might be really good. W-R-O-N-G!
I'll admit I'm old for the target audience, so if you're a teen or possibly in your early twenties you will probably enjoy the book and the series. It's very highly rated. But from my perspective, this whole series (4 books, 65 hours) should have been in one book, and I probably still wouldn't have liked it that much. This book has a pretty unexpected plot twist in the first couple hours, but mostly there's just a lot of supernatural stuff going on that never really grabbed my interest, and the love triangle never really culminates.
PERFORMANCE - The female narrator does an okay job, but I'm not a fan. Occasionally some of her characters sounded like they were talking baby-talk, but maybe it's just me. The male narrator was much better, but unfortunately he doesn't talk as much.
OVERALL - Recommended ONLY for teens/twentyish females. Sex and teenage marriage/pregnancy occur but are dealt with tastefully. There's some fighting but it doesn't really rise to the level of what I'd call violence, and there's vampire bloodlust which is also fairly minimal. The books don't stand alone, so think about the 65 hours...
Ok, so its been 2 days since I finished Breaking Dawn (I went through books 2 - 4 in about 8 days), and I think I'm going through withdrawal :o). To borrow Jacob's words its "like a drug".
I'm kinda sad that its over but I could not put them down 'til I was done. Now I feel like I'm missing a really good friend that went away. Wow.
Kudos to Stephenie for creating such an escape and much love to Ilyana and Matt for taking me there.
I read this and the complete series to make sure it was ok for my granddaughter. I was hooked from the start. Loved the series and each book just gets better.
Now that I have finished the series, it is a little difficult to separate out the book into separate entities. They all flowed very easily as there was no time lapse between any of the books. The fourth was quite long and had quite a deal of suspense in my opinion. I am pretty sure that I did not enjoy the fourth book as much as the previous three but I was equally compelled to finish it. I heard someone argue recently that they thought the series could have ended after the third book. I am not sure that I would go as far as that because I did enjoy very much the characters in the fourth book and appreciated the development of Bella's character, which many people felt was overdue.
i dowloaded the book series 1-4 for my 14 tr. old granddaughter, so i listened to them to make sure they were OK. i am 58 and the grandpa. the first one was a bit slow for me but i could see the interest points for the kids. the 2nd gained a bit of momentum. the 3rd and 4th hit homeruns! i really enjoyed the whole series!
Say something about yourself!
I STARTED LISTING TO THE SERIES AFTER THE THIRS MOVE CAME OUT BECAUSE I COULDNT WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS. I THOUGHT THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING. THE BEST OUT OF THE SERIES.
I was so excited to find out what happened to Bella and Edward that I had to buy the book. I cant wait to hear Ilyana Kadushin read the book. She did such a great job on the first three books that while I was reading book 4 I heard her voice for Bella.
Stephenie Meyer's books have been so great. While I agree with the first review of this book saying 'I hope this isn't the end of the story.'
I am so glad that Audible finally was able to get the 4th book of the twilight series and I have to say that the book lives up to its reputation...I read the book in 8 hours and I couldn't put it down!!
Great book, thank you Stephenie Meyer for giving me a thrilling ride through your characters. You have a gift for inventing realistic characters and its great to see a fellow Phoenician doing such great things!
Could not stop
The happy ending
Didn't start the series unitl the summer of 2012 because I am not a lover of monster stories. Vampires...who knew. I read the books first and could not put it down after the first couple of pages. I got the audio books because I wanted to read it again. I loved it.
"What happens next..."
Okay, Now the Series must come to an end.
As usual in this series Ilyana Kadushin is the voice of Bella and for the second time Matt Walters is the voice of Jacob.
These two voices team up very well, and for me the voice of Jacob is a welcome change, because at this point as much as I am now addicted to this series, hearing how perfect some people/ vampires are is becoming just slight tiring
So this story has been split into 3 books. 2 before, 1 after. Before and after what I?ll leave you to figure out.
The only thing I have against this partial story is that the ending fell just a little flat. The first 26 Chapters is the Bella/ Edward Romance, it doesn?t disappoint and it keeps your attention and had me laughing out loud in some places, and then from chapters 27 ? 39 the build up for a really big excellent physical fight starts and it totally sucks you in, and then what I call a political move comes a steals the thunder. It?s not a bad move, but the bloodlust at this point was drawn out in me, and for once in this series, it was not satisfied.
No matter what your feelings about this story are, it still keeps you coming back to it. But for once with this partial audio, I treat almost like an encyclopaedia and on re-listen to the chapters I really enjoy rather then the whole.
I love the twilight series and i think Breaking Dawn is the best one of all. I absolutley love the way it splits into three boks, i think it gives the story some perspective
This is the final chapter of Stephenie Meyer's compelling Twilight Saga that has charmed the hearts of fans the world over. As Bella and Edward attempt to make a life for themselves, they must face the biggest test of all, one which threatens their very survival and will almost certainly separate them from the one thing they can't live without (each other). This is a powerful and fitting conclusion to a truly amazing and inspiring series.
