JD lives in a world that is dry and barren. He has only ever known the company of his parents and the fearsome 'Silvermen'. He has been told stories that once water fell from the sky and there were oceans and rivers. He doesn't really believe it though.
After his father is killed he seeks his mother who has returned to the city. He meets a strange old man who has had his lips sewn together and know the secret of how to find water.
Joe Jameson's voice and accent suit the telling of this story well. His southern drawl when voicing the 'boonies' helps create a convincing atmosphere.
Water is life.
