Is death the end.... or only the beginning?
Ethan Wate has spent most of his life longing to escape the stiflingly small Southern town of Gatlin. He never thought he would meet the girl of his dreams, Lena Duchannes, who unveiled a secretive, powerful, and cursed side of Gatlin, hidden in plain sight. And he never could have expected that he would be forced to leave behind everyone and everything he cares about. So when Ethan awakes after the chilling events of the Eighteenth Moon, he has only one goal: to find a way to return to Lena and the ones he loves.Back in Gatlin, Lena is making her own bargains for Ethan's return, vowing to do whatever it takes - even if that means trusting old enemies or risking the lives of the family and friends Ethan left to protect.
Worlds apart, Ethan and Lena must once again work together to rewrite their fate, in this fourth book and stunning finale to the Beautiful Creatures series.

I am immortal ....so far. I enjoy a god story and love a great narrator. :-)
I would have to say without Kevin Collins as narrator I am not postivie I would have enjoyed the series as much. His performance as Ethan and the other characters really made the book. Very enjoyable and i hope they continue with the characters.
Top, the narration was excellent
Ethan is such a great guy and a strong main character
I loved kevin doing all the voices. Kristine hvam lacked the emotion of what was happening at the time. If she had read more of the book I would not have enjoyed it as much
Great series of books!
I like to read VERY much .. I'm obsessed with reading I don't have time to actually read a book so I've been a listener for three years now
The male narrator ABSOLUTELY .. the authors I'm not so sure because I found the series was so annoying to me
I don't think so .. because the story progression was boring to me . there wasn't any excitement in it
maybe the scene when Ethan saw his mother for the first time after death
I already saw the first movie and it was horrible .. so I don't think so
it was a good read .. nothing more
I would definitely try another book from these folks. I enjoyed the first three books and was hoping to love this book. There were a lot of red herrings in the first three that I thought would be wrapped up in this volume, but they weren't. (Why was Ethan forgetting things in the third book? How was Linc going to be able to cope with his "affliction"? Why was Ethan's reaction to Lena physically stronger and stronger in the third book?)
This book seemed hastily written. It tied everything up, but simplistically. And I want to know if Ethan and Lena can get fully married and live happily ever after.
Get a more light hearted read the next time! This book was fine, but relentlessly grim and depressing.
Clearly, I liked the characters and was involved with the overall story arc. This was not a bad book, just not as good as the others.
A middle-aged romantic who grew up reading Heinlen, Louis L'Amour and Richard Hooker. Expect and honest opinion, even if it's not PC.
It was sad and bitter-sweet at times; but the authors really wrapped up the story in a good way. Now, if you'll just prevent Hollywood screenwriters from turning the movie sequels into their personal prejudice rants (the way they did Beautiful Creatures), I'd be very grateful.
I like magical realism.
While I would not have been pleased with the series ending as it did in Beautiful Chaos, I found this book to be the worst in the series. I will not go as far as saying that it was a bad book, but the only word that I can think of to adequately describe this book is "severed." You may understand what I mean if you read it. If you have read the other three books, by all mean, complete the series, there's no reason not to.
Kevin T. Collins made the entire series most enjoyable, along with the sound effects.
I have yet to find another series that compares to these books.
Both Kevin & Khristine brought warmth, affection and emotion to the story.
During one scene where Hunter & Abraham were having their final battle with the group, I had waves of goosebumps.
A lot of people seem to be picking on Khristine as a narrator, I actually thought she did a fantastic job. Nobody will ever compare to Kevin but believe me, listen to a couple of the narrators in the City of Bones series...now THEY were horrid. Khristine did an amazing job.
Overall, this is now my favourite series of all time. It's too bad the movie was terrible and did a hatchet job on the first book.
By far the best of the series. It will blow your mind and it is nothing you would ever have expected.
I would change the way the female narrator pronounces things. The male narrator has been on since book one and she pronounces words differently which to me is jarring. I far apart.
Any book in the Beautiful Creatures series. They are fantastic.
Kevin is fantastic, good voice and captivating. I have to say that Khristine is a bit jarring with pronuncation at times, accents slip, but other than that a good speaking voice.
Unbelievable, exciting, enchanting
The exciting part was when they where trying to transport the book to a different dimension
The part where Ethan realized Seraphines limitations.
I defiantly would have if I was able to. I was listening to this book every chance I got.
This is a brilliant finish to an amazing and brilliant set of writings.
