My absolute favorite book series.

I loved listening to every book. The narrator has the most poetic voice I've ever heard. Love the writers and appreciate everything you all put into writing and producing these books. Thank you.

I love Kevin T. Collins, his narration is awesome. Khristine Hvam is awful, I could not wait until it was Kevin's turn again.

This book was so much better than the previous book in this series. This storyline was so much more exciting and interesting. It is a really good book to end the series on.

A Beautiful Ending

I'm sad that the series is over! Kami & Margaret did a great job of bringing the characters to life and making the reader feel as if they are family! I will always love this series! It reminds me somewhat of the "Book of Witches" but more teen/young adult-oriented.

Knowing this book came after "Beautiful Chaos," you know somehow that we will be hearing from Ethan even if he did hurtle himself off the water tower. We do! We learn about life in the "other world"...life after death. Ethan is reunited with at least 2 people that he loves but the finality of his act starts to sink in and he is determined to change that!

Meanwhile, in the mortal world, everyone is struggling to come to terms with Ethan's death especially Amma and Lena. They work hard to keep Ethan's father in a daze so he does not know what has happened.

Ethan learns there is a way that he can save himself and return to the mortal world but it is very dangerous! He must go on a quest that will test him every step of the way and he will need help from the mortal world in order to get back to what he knows and loves. It will consist of going into a battle Royale with Abraham for the Book of Moons.

Aged well.

I first started reading the caster Chronicles in 2012 and it was a story that I connected so deeply with and I'm sure others have as well. I especially loved that this book is a genre that I feel rarely is told from the male perspective. As a young adult just before smartphones and iPods were still the rage. I felt this was a book written for me. Listening to the audio 11 years later and the story is even more immersive and it takes me back to a time where things were a bit slower and more romantic. I can't wait until I read it and go through all the feels all over again in the future.

I liked the dual storylines and how they played off each other. Sorry for the vagueness, I just don't want to give out any spoilers.

I have really enjoyed this series and this book wraps up the series nicely. I have enjoyed the songs, which are so important to this series (Sorry, this is a bit generalized to the whole series.) I think this series is good for teens & adults. I've enjoyed it and I'm 40.
