GREAT SERIES!

I really enjoyed it! The narration was good but needs improvement! The author did a great job with the character builds and plot. This author is easily one of my favorites! I look forward to reading more books by this author! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

poor baby girl. what a strong girl

Awe poor baby girl, what a life. I loved hearing how even though she came from a horrible start in life, she got stronger and wiser. I really enjoyed taking this jury with her. She is a strong young women, with heart break. I love that she didn't let that stop her, and stood on her own two feet to get answers in her life.
I would recommend this story to others. it is great for young adults.
I know at the end of book four, there is a intro to book 5. I do not think I will be listening to book 5. I feel this story was pretty much wrapped up in the last book, and I like how her life turned out. It seemed to me like the next book is going on a different path with the same main cast. and it was the story i liked in these books.

the narrator did an an ok job. Though though a lot of the books, she seemed to be talking through a tin can? though i think that might be the editing, not her. though at at some points she would take a big breath before every other line, that drove me a little batty.

Heart wrenching, captivating and thrilling

I'd like to say that this bundle is almost a steal for the price. I was thoroughly entertained for the whole 7 hours and it cost me very little. I love the author's writing style. She knows how to portray an image and pull on your heart strings. Hearing about the story of this little girl is epic and borderline nonfiction because it's the reality of so many real life children. I super enjoyed this book and I highly recommend the author's other work.

Where does Baby Girl Box Set rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

OK, I don't want to offend anyone not author or narrator but not very high in my rankings. In saying this, I did think the story was good and has so much potential.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Baby Girl Box Set?

The discovery of her past, who she really was and how she ended the way she did.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Wendy McCleskey?

I think Wendy has great potential to be a wonderful narrator, her performance did improve in book 3 & 4 she read it with so much more passion. I also don't think that the location the audio was recorded did her any favours, the sound echoed and many times sounded like she was in a tunnel. So the answer to the question is YES.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It has a lot of passion and it made you feel everything while reading it, it can be improved because at times it had a little to much information that really wasn't necessary. And yeah, I did come close to having a little cry, it was a very moving story.

I listened to another book by this author that I loved. That gave me great hope for these books.

As this started out, I was disappointed. The premise began alright but too many unbelievable events occurred. I kept listening, hoping things would be more realistic. Unfortunately it didn't happen until the 4th book. Remember this is only my opinion, others find it better than I. I will still give the author another try.

The narration was somewhat so-so, just not as robust as I prefer.

No I would not. Because the audio is so bad.

Cannot think of one.

What didn’t you like about Wendy McCleskey’s performance?

Performance was awful due to either where they recorded it. Plus some words were mispronounced. It seemed like it was not edited very well.
