Great Read

Taming Zach (Team Loco #1) was another great read by Amy Sparling. Bree lives in a small town in Tennessee, where she lives a simple life. She is a maid with her mom and works at the local motocross track on weekends. She wants to get out of her small town and make something of herself. Zach is famous in the motocross world, but his fame is seeming to crash and burn. He returns to his hometown to try and get back to the sport that he loves. I really enjoyed reading Bree and Zach’s story and can’t wait to read more by Amy Sparling.

Refreshing characters and plot

One of the strongest aspects of this story is both of main characters backgrounds.

Both Bree and Zach come from backgrounds where money is a big deal, with Zach having come from a single parent household and Brees parents working lower income jobs. It’s something seen less often in romance books, where there seems to be billionaires on every corner. ( I do enjoy these kinds of books as well, just stating a common occurrence in my favorite genre.)


The relationship development between the two was fun to see it blossom and grow over time, however, I feel like both of their realizations that they really wanted to stay in the small Tennessee town seemed really hasty and not really pondered for awhile.


I really enjoyed the narration by Brittany Goodwin. She did a great female voice and a good male voice.


Overall, I would rate this four stars.

Sweet, Heart-Warming Romance

I loved this book because it isn't cheesy and is a very sweet, pretty clean romance. I am in love with Zach (and Bree!!!). I loved the narration, the narrator did a great job with the alternating M/F POVs and with bringing the emotion to life. Can't wait for the next book in the Team Loco series!
